Lawmakers react to rogue global court’s arrest warrant for Netanyahu

A rogue globalist court followed through with its threats by issuing an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a dramatic escalation against the Jewish nation.

On Thursday, the International Criminal Court (ICC) and its prosecutor Karim Khan issued warrants for the Israeli leader and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, charging them with “crimes against humanity and war crimes,” including the use of starvation as a method of warfare.

“With respect to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and former Israeli Minister of Defence Yoav Gallant, the judges of the International Criminal Court have found that there are reasonable grounds to believe that each has committed the war crime of using starvation as a method of warfare and crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts, as a direct perpetrator, acting jointly with others,” Khan said in a statement.

While Netanyahu blasted the warrant which makes him subject to arrest in 125 countries as more anti-Semitism, U.S. lawmakers reacted with similar outrage at the Hague-based court.

“The ICC’s arrest warrant against Prime Minister Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Gallant is outrageous, unlawful, and dangerous. Leader Schumer should bring a bill to the floor sanctioning the ICC. If he chooses not to act, the new Senate Republican majority next year will,” said incoming Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD), vowing sanctions against the global court.

“The ICC already lacks legitimacy, but with this bigoted and politicized decision, the ICC has turned itself into a kangaroo court,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) told Jewish Insider. “That, frankly, is unfair to kangaroos.”

“The ICC is a kangaroo court and Karim Khan is a deranged fanatic. Woe to him and anyone who tries to enforce these outlaw warrants. Let me give them all a friendly reminder: the American law on the ICC is known as The Hague Invasion Act for a reason. Think about it,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) wrote on X.

“No standing, relevance, or path. F**k that,” said Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), who unlike the vast majority of his party is a staunch supporter of Israel.

Condemnation from other Democrats was conspicuous by their silence although rabidly anti-Semitic Hamas sympathizer Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) hailed the ICC’s aggressive move against Bibi.

“The International Criminal Court’s long overdue decision to issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity signals that the days of the Israeli apartheid government operating with impunity are ending,” Tlaib said. “Since this genocide began, the United States has provided more than $18 billion in weapons to the Israeli government. The Biden Administration can no longer deny that those same US weapons have been used in countless war crimes.”

Comrade Bernie Sanders, a vehement Netanyahu hater whose effort to cut off arms to Israel went down in defeat this week also gave props to the ICC.

The ICC’s warrant for Netanyahu is more of the same leftist lawfare, similar to the bogus charges and sham trials of President-elect Donald J. Trump at home.

“Israel rejects with disgust the absurd and false actions and charges against it by the International Criminal Court, which is a biased and discriminatory political body,” Netanyahu’s office said in a statement. “There is nothing more just than the war that Israel has been waging in Gaza… after the terrorist organization Hamas launched a murderous attack against it, committing the greatest massacre committed against the Jewish people since the Holocaust.”
