Leftists and media allies apoplectic over Justice Alito’s alleged ‘stop the steal’ flag

Leftist airheads are in a tizzy over a report that Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito allegedly had a dissenting opinion about the 2020 election.

Filed by The New York Times, the report claims that Alito’s neighbors spotted an inverted flag flying outside his home in the days after the Jan. 6th riot.

This, according to the Times, is a big problem for one key reason: “After the 2020 presidential election, as some Trump supporters falsely claimed that President Biden had stolen the office, many of them displayed a startling symbol outside their homes, on their cars and in online posts: an upside-down American flag.”

In other words, by flying inverted flag, Alito allegedly indicated that he supported former President Donald Trump’s “Stop the Steal” efforts.

There’s just one problem. Speaking with the Times via email, Alito wrote, “I had no involvement whatsoever in the flying of the flag. It was briefly placed by Mrs. Alito in response to a neighbor’s use of objectionable and personally insulting language on yard signs.”

“Interviews show that the justice’s wife, Martha-Ann Alito, had been in a dispute with another family on the block over an anti-Trump sign on their lawn, but given the timing and the starkness of the symbol, neighbors interpreted the inverted flag as a political statement by the couple,” the Times further notes.

So has every leftist in America.

Case in point:

But the angriest response came from MSNBC leftist Joe Scarborough, who ranted and raved like a maniac on Friday after the Times’ report.

“I will tell you, growing up, one of my friend’s fathers was a federal judge,” his ranting began. “I had no idea until I got older whether he was Republican or Democrat. And that was the case in northwest Florida, a very conservative place. The federal judges kept themselves beyond reproach. They never talked politics, ever, in the privacy of their homes. If you asked their opinion, they would just say, ‘Not my job.’ Right? ‘I’m a judge.’ They actually took their oath seriously.”

“And for a Supreme Court justice and I will say, my opinion only, but the guy most likely to have had something to do with the leaking of the Dobbs decision, leaking it to the Wall Street Journal or somebody connected to him, leaking it to the Wall Street Journal because he wanted to keep Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett frozen in place. I think history will show that,” his ranting continued.

“But that aside, for a guy who is a Supreme Court justice that let that happen at his own home in one of the most fraught times in American history since the Civil War is just… It’s just sad. And it shows how little respect he has for the institution. It shows how little respect he has for the law. It really… It’s disgusting. It’s just disgusting,” his ranting concluded.
