Leftists gush when Kamala Harris’ husband describes married life. But, was it a compliment?

If a Democrat went on national television and likened Vice President Kamala Harris to an easily offended, gaffe-prone sitcom character, liberals on social media would be calling for an excommunication, but when it’s Harris’s husband making the comparison, the left thinks it’s adorable.

First Gentleman Doug Emhoff appeared Monday on “Watch What Happens Live” with host Andy Cohen and was asked if he has ever watched “Veep,” a 2012-2019 HBO comedy that featured actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the fictional Vice President Selina Meyer.

Louis-Dreyfus’s delivery of Meyer’s hilarious word salads has led to many Harris comparisons since the Biden administration took over the White House.

Never was the comparison meant as a compliment.

Far from “sweet,” those who made it asked things like, “who portrays an ignorant VP better?”

When asked if he ever watches the show, Emhoff said, “We’re living it.”

He later said that Jill Biden is his favorite former second lady.

“She’s awesome,” he said, according to the New York Post.

Given the kiss Harris’s hubby planted on the First Lady’s mouth at the State of the Union address, it was something else Emhoff may have wanted to keep to himself.

Asked if he and Kamala ever double-date with Jill and Joe, Emhoff replied, “We’re working so hard, but we’re with them all the time.”

“The four of us together,” he told Cohen, “it’s great.”

In fact, there was little Emhoff said that didn’t trigger a cringe-inducing memory.

Offering five supposedly little-known facts about the woman who is next in line to hold the nuclear football, Emhoff said she really, really digs hip-hop.

“She loves old-school hip-hop,” Emhoff said. “Especially Bay Area.”

Our own real-life Veep even calls him “Doug E. Fresh.”

It’s probably just a coincidence that progressive Squad member, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) just announced the launch of a new caucus known as the “Congressional Hip Hop Power and Justice Task Force,” aimed at using hip-hop music to champion left-wing policies.

And who could forget the pain of watching Harris at her hip-hop house party?

Kamala Harris is also an “amazing, amazing chef,” Emhoff said.

And she apparently loves cooking on a gas stove, despite her boss’s desire to eliminate them in the name of climate change.

Kamala also impersonates old Jewish ladies and loves her family, according to her husband.

Naturally, he didn’t mention how passionately the vice president is fighting for the right to kill babies at will.

But, if you’re a Democrat, Emhoff’s insights into his wife are a testament to the couple’s sparkly love.

“Now if she could only string 2 sentences together,” stated one less-than-impressed user, “but alas!!”
