“The Daily Show” contributor Leslie Jones recently ranted that Americans have “so much hatred” for black people.
The rant from the Biden-Harris 2020 surrogate and ultra-wealthy actress/comedian began with her drawing attention to President Donald Trump’s recent complaint that museums are too focused on the negatives of American history, such as slavery.
“Oh, are we hurting your little feelings, you bi–h?” she said, chiding the president. “Well, Mr. President. Slavery feels bad to talk about because slavery was bad.”

She then argued that, if anything, museums need to focus even more on slavery.
“Honestly, I don’t think museums go far enough,” she said. “If you don’t leave an African American history museum weeping and wanting to give your closest black friends reparations, then they didn’t do the museum right.”
“By the way, 40 acres and a mule is not enough anymore. I want 40 acres and a trust fund, how about that? Matter of fact, throw in the mule if you want to. I need something to carry my money,” she further quipped.
Jones continued by complaining about the right’s use of the word “woke.” While she conceded that making the Little Mermaid black may have been “woke,” she firmly maintained that “teaching slavery is not ‘woke’ — it’s history.”
Jones then turned to arguing that racism is destroying America. As proof, she pointed to increased unemployment for black people.
“Economists have told us that when we see the unemployment rate going up for black people, it’s a sign that it could soon go up for all people,” she maintained. “America, you in danger, girl. Racism is like the syphilis of America. Once it gets in there, it just keeps spreading until the whole country is blind and crazy. You’re not caring right now, because it’s happening to us, but it will trickle down.”
“We keep trying to tell you this is a horror movie. Just because the Black guy got killed first doesn’t mean that the white people are safe. Because if the Black person can’t outrun the chainsaw killer, none of y’all can,” she added.
And finally, Jones got to asking why America allegedly hates black people.
“I just need to know, why does America have so much hatred for black people?” she said. “Is it because when you see black people, you are reminded of the sins of this country? Is it because my ass is too fat? Is it because people need a scapegoat for their own shortcomings? Is it because you’re afraid that we are going to treat you like you treated us?”
She added that she thinks “everyone” needs to become better educated about black people and their struggles.
“You’ve been fed false propaganda about black people since the beginning of time in books, music, TV, movies,” she said. “That shit’s powerful. Even I fall for it sometimes.”
“I saw X-Men, and do you know how long I believed Halle Berry controlled the weather? But apparently, it’s the Jews. Oh, wait, wait, is that propaganda too? Damn, y’all are good! You all are so good at that shit!” she continued.
Jones also complained about people stereotyping one another if they talk “a certain way” or appear “a certain way,” arguing that “everyone wants to make assumptions, when we just want to be treated like everybody else.”
“What do you see when you see us?” she then asked. “Do you see us less than human? Do you see us as animals? Why does this shit keep happening?”
As an example of “this shit,” she brought up a recent story about a famous black TV writer who has alleged he was arrested on a public train just because some old white woman didn’t like him.
But in reality, the man was arrested for occupying two seats instead of one and refusing to obey when confronted by the police.
THERE IS MORE TO THIS THAN IT APPEARS. Former “The Bear” STAFF WRITER & AND ONE OF MANY…Alex O’Keefe wasn’t PROFILED or kicked off the train for being BLACK he was kicked off for being an arrogant, entitled wanna be victim.
He had his legs stretched across other seats and… pic.twitter.com/20bz8bP3L8— Johnny St.Pete (@JohnMcCloy) September 24, 2025
Jones nevertheless ended her lengthy rant by urging Americans to go visit a black museum themselves to better educate themselves.
“Go learn, go study, educate yourself … while they’re still here,” she said.
