Libs incite racism around big day, predict ‘MAGA’s white whine’ over Super Bowl showcase of ‘black excellence’

Americans who long for the good old days when the Super Bowl was a unifying event will once again be disappointed by the racializing of the big game which will feature two black quarterbacks and a rousing rendition of the “Black National Anthem” before kickoff.

One left-wing rag is mocking those who just want to focus on football and not being constantly beaten over the head with the white shaming that the NFL has embraced since the George Floyd “Summer of Love” by labeling them the “Cult of the White Whine” in yet another example of the leftist cultural elitism that The Nation specializes in.

In his screed titled “The Super Bowl Will Be a Spectacle of Black Excellence, but You’ll Need to Tune Out MAGA’s White Whine,” author Dave Zirin writes “The NFL, to my shock, has not prematurely surrendered to Trump and Elon Musk’s agenda of Black erasure,” before uncorking his bitter rant and pouring it out in a divisive, race-baiting diatribe.

“The people trying to silence Black voices and erase Black history won’t be happy about it. The white whine will pour before the game even starts when a New Orleans–born recording artist, the brilliant Ledesi, performs ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing.’ With lyrics written by early civil rights activist and NAACP leader James Weldon Johnson, it is called both lovingly and derisively—depending upon who is doing the talking—the Black national anthem,” Zirin wrote, singing the praises of the dueling national anthem that has been a turnoff to millions of fans.

“That it is even performed at all is an outgrowth of the anti-racist struggles of NFL football players between 2016 and 2020—struggles that in 2017 provoked Trump in front of a packed audience in Huntsville, Alabama, (a vineyard of white whiners) to curse these almost exclusively Black players as “sons of bitches” and call for them to be fired. (Trump never played football but likes to whine that the game is no longer sufficiently violent for his tastes.) Whenever “Life Every Voice” is played, the very people scratching out Black history from our textbooks have raging tantrums, only proving its necessity. These are people who don’t want voices lifted; they want them silenced,” he claimed.

There’s a word for someone who is obsessed with race: racist. And X users called Zirin on it.

Zirin goes on to wail about the backlash against racist DEI which is being rooted out of the government by President Donald J. Trump who will be in attendance at the game. While Trump and much of Corporate America are rightly getting rid of the anti-white discriminatory policies, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is doubling down.

“We got into diversity efforts because we felt like it was the right thing for the National Football League, and we’re going to continue those efforts because we’ve not only convinced ourselves, we’ve proven ourselves, that it does make the NFL better,” the commish said at a Monday press conference. “We’re not in this because it’s a trend to get in or a trend to get out of it.”

Super Bowl LIX will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA and while the game will indeed feature two black QBs: Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles, that narrative will be secondary to the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce reality TV show which is even more sickening than the incessant leftist harping about race.
