Looney tunes leftists smash watermelons to work out their anger at Trump

Like something straight out of a dystopian cartoon, protesters engaged in emotional regulation activities at an anti-Trump protest.

The “Rage Against the Regime” protest in St. Paul, Minnesota, included a “scream tent, smash room, and about 80 senior citizens,” according to TPUSA contributor Savanah Hernandez. Attendees were able to work out their anger at President Donald Trump by smashing watermelons, which went just about as well as you’d expect from the kind of people who are anti-Trump.

Look:

“Liberals in Minnesota are currently smashing watermelons and TVs to help expel their ‘rage’ against the Trump admin. After smashing a watermelon, one attendee screamed ‘REVOLUTION’ stating that the experience was ‘cathartic’ and left her shaking,” Hernandez posted on X. “Live look at the full event, which includes a scream tent, smash room and about 80 senior citizens.”

In case this feels like a satirization of a leftist protest, Daily Kos described the event:

The turnout in St. Paul was around two hundred, and a success in many ways. It was fun: there was a band, food trucks, a booth for smashing things (such as watermelons), a place to throw vegetables at a large poster of J D Vance, and tables set up for various organizations. People held signs along the adjacent street.

The Indivisible Twin Cities table had a brisk business selling caps and No Kings lawn signs, and most importantly getting people signed up. Looked like other organizations had similar interest, so it was great for getting the word out. Small events can be just as important as mass events for building the resistance.

Even the Sydney Sweeney American Eagle ad came up, and it turns out the people who are freaking out over it are real people:
