Loony celebs pledge to defend US Constitution in yet another ‘thinly-veiled’ attack on Trump

We regret to inform you that celebrities are once again filming themselves making a political statement.

This time, Jamie Lee Curtis, Robert De Niro and others are publicly pledging allegiance to the Constitution of the United States. While this would normally be considered a normal, even conservative thing to do, critics argue this is just another in a long line of performative nonsense from anti-Trump celebrities.

“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That I will continue to bear true faith and allegiance to the same, and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion,” they say. “I am proud to affirm my oath to the Constitution, and I hope you will too.”

The video then fades to an advertisement for The Oath Project, developed by the American Constitution Society. Their website’s About Us page explains who they are.
