MacCallum suggests Statue of Liberty would cry over ‘mayhem’ in NYC migrant hotels

Fox News host Martha MacCallum reacted to a whistleblower account of illegal immigrants who are housed in a swanky New York City hotel being picky about their free gourmet food and spending their time drinking, getting high, having sex and engaging in domestic violence by suggesting that such behavior would bring a tear to the Statue of Liberty’s eye.

In a shocking glimpse of what really goes on inside the Row NYC hotel in Manhattan, a luxury establishment once advertised to tourists as the “Lullaby of Broadway,” an employee revealed to the network that the freeloading illegal aliens who are treated like royalty are showing their gratitude by allegedly trashing the place, a report that MacCallum brought up during a discussion with co-host Geraldo Rivera on Friday’s edition of “The Five.”

“When I’m reading this story, right, I’m thinking about Lazarus’s poem on the Statue of Liberty,” she said, referring to the poet Emma Lazarus whose words are inscribed upon a bronze plaque on the statue’s pedestal.

“‘Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free,’ right? And I’m thinking there’s a little tear coming down the Statue of Liberty’s head when she hears that the food is not exactly what they would like and there is mayhem going on in these hotels, where people are also, according to this whistleblower, having sex in the hallways, getting into fights, domestic abuse is taking place,” she said.

Rivera responded by producing and quoting from a Carnegie Institute report saying that “Illegal immigrants are less likely to be incarcerated, in prisons, convicted of crimes or arrested than native born Americans.”

“That means, mathematically speaking, the more undocumented immigrants that you have in a community, the lower the crime rate, a safer neighborhood,” he added while seeming to excuse the mayhem at the Manhattan hotel.

Felipe Rodriguez, the Row NYC worker who blew the whistle on Mayor Adams’s very special guests, told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that the behavior that he has witnessed is “a disgrace.”

On Wednesday’s edition of “The Ingraham Angle,” Rodriguez shared a video of trash bags of uneaten, fresh “good food” that is rotting because the picky “migrants don’t want to eat them.”

“They said they don’t like it,” he said of the discarded dinners. “This is all food that is going to waste. This is insane.”

“The chaos that we see at the Row today is [caused] by migrants being drunk, drinking all day, smoking marijuana [and] consuming drugs,” Rodriguez added, noting that the hotel is struggling with an explosion of “domestic violence” among the illegals with young people “having sex in the stairs,” and fighting with hotel security personnel.

“The form in which they keep their rooms is horrendous. They don’t clean it, they don’t fold their clothes. They’re hoarding clothes, they’re hoarding whatever they can hoard,” he said, explaining that the employees have lost control over the hotel and the migrants act like they own the place. “There’s no accountability.”

“The ones that have all the power are the migrants. The hotel workers lost their power in the hotel,” Rodriguez said.
