‘Mad Men’ actress accuses Trump of staging WHCA assassination attempt

The conspiracy theories have flown fast and furious since the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting, getting a boost from a ‘Mad Men’ actress.

January Jones is apparently hopping on the boat with people who have refused to utilize critical thinking skills in the wake of Saturday’s shooting. She posted an Instagram story implying that the horrifying event was staged, as if the hateful vitriol from the left exists in a vacuum with no influence over anyone who might genuinely believe the claims that President Donald Trump is a threat to democracy, women, minorities, etc.

“Do you have a boring dinner party coming up, and lots of losers and fake friends have rsvp’d? Are you looking for help staging a small scale low risk assassination attempt to get out of it? Look no further, the US Government is your man, call us now at 1-800-wehate-americans and they’ll add a bonus podium to talk at people at length about how cool and strong you are and ruin everyone’s evening,” she wrote, adding the caveat “This is is NOT a one time offer, you can do it as many times are you want, taxes don’t apply.”

Unfortunately, she’s not alone in this lunacy.

Actress Mia Farrow also took to Bluesky to imply that 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen, who allegedly fired shots at the WHCD and was subsequently arrested, was used by the Trump administration to “raise his ratings” following the military action in Iran that drew widespread skepticism.

“He is forcing us to wonder ‘he has lost a war he is unable to end & is now so desperate to raise his approval ratings, would he …..’ ?” Farrow wrote on the platform.
