Leftists in the media are freaking out over the iconic image of former President Donald J. Trump, and one editor is urging outlets to bury it.
As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words but in Trump’s case, it could also mean being elected in a landslide come November and the photo of the century could seal the deal.
The Republican Party nominee became a living American legend when after an assassin’s bullet nearly ended his life, a bloodied Trump raised his fist in the air and shouted “Fight, fight, fight!” with a photographer just happening to be there at the exact moment for the historic shot.

The image is so powerful that even the haters have acknowledged it, a picture that could inspire the second American revolution, this one at the ballot box.
According to a report from Axios, “Multiple photographers worried privately in conversations with Axios’ Aïda Amer that the viral images from the rally could turn into a kind of “photoganda,” with the Trump campaign using them to further their agenda despite the photographers’ intent of capturing a news event.
Axios: a “photo editor” at a “major news outlet” suggests media should bury the photo of Trump raising his fist because it’s “kind of free PR for Trump in a way, and it’s dangerous for media organizations to keep sharing that photo despite how good it is.” pic.twitter.com/pLcrLi6mnH

“A photo editor and photographer from a major news outlet said the ‘amount that publications have been using Evan’s photo is kind of free PR for Trump in a way, and it’s dangerous for media organizations to keep sharing that photo despite how good it is,'” the outlet reported. “Another photographer who has freelanced for major publications worried that the photo would become “a propaganda machine,” with the image itself making Trump ‘a martyr.'”
The idea that the Trump shot which is right up there with the Marines planting the flag on Iwo Jima should be suppressed for political reasons drew a harsh reaction from X users.
You just can’t dislike media enough. You think you can but then you read something like this.

They can’t hide the power of that moment.
Most EPIC presidential moment in my lifetime.

They cannot suppress those photos now. Our children and grandchildren will see them in books decades from now.

They’re upset that a photo of real life can’t be shown because real life is too positive for Trump…

The photo will be spread far and wide no matter what these “major news outlets” do.
Corporate media doesn’t have a monopoly anymore, and it’s hilarious that they’re still in denial about it.

It’s easy to see why the media would want to airbrush the image from history. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said that the pic is so powerful that, “In my opinion, the shooter, he just handed Donald Trump the election.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, you can’t buy — I’ve been in media for 30 years — you can’t buy a better photo than what Donald Trump has at this disposal as we speak. He goes to the ground, he’s got blood on his right. Looked like it got nicked, which is what he said. It pierced his ear. He gets up. He looks disheveled… clearly taken aback by what happened, and rightfully so,” Smith said on “The Stephen A. Smith Show.”
“Blood trickling down his ear and the right side of his face. Surrounded by Secret Service agents. Raises his fist, cringing his face up. ‘Fight, fight, fight!’ He says it three times, and while raising his fist, surrounded by Secret Service agents, the American flag is behind him. Ladies and gentlemen, you can’t buy a better photo than that if you’re a politician,” he added.
