The Canadian Minister of Families, Children and Social Development took to Twitter in support of a women’s shelter to tout the Hope in High Heels on the Hill, which features men walking in high heels to show their support for victims of domestic violence — in the U.S. these walks are perhaps better known as “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” events.
Karina Gould, a liberal member of Parliament representing Burlington, Ontario in the House of Commons, included a photo of male lawmakers wearing bright pink heels. However, in today’s age of transgenderism, this takes on a whole other perspective. It’s almost as if the left expects to have their cake and eat it too.
“We welcomed @HaltonWomensPl to the Hill for the 4th annual Hope in High Heels on the Hill, to continue the conversation on systemic violence against women. Educating men and boys is part of the solution, and it is all of our responsibilities to end gender based violence,” she tweeted.

The shelter and the cause are worthy of support, and events of this nature have been held for years. While some argued that there’s a certain feminization of men at play here, those concerns were brushed aside in the past.
But Gould’s tweet is beset with problems, based on today’s politically correct standards. After all, we can no longer decide what a woman is, or throw around gender-specific terms like “man and boys.”
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
Apparently, Canada is ruled by children just like the US.

I think this sends the wrong message, the transgender war on women twists this message.
Cross dressing definitely does not support women in today’s current political climate.

You mean like men in ladies washrooms or women’s prisons that have assaulted. That kind of violence against women?

Umm instead of high heels why not stop men from stealing all sports from women?

Keep men out of women’s spaces is a start.
