Mark Epstein says brother Jeffrey told him he had info that would have ‘canceled’ 2016 election

According to Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, the 2016 election as it went down was in the hands of his late sibling.

Mark Epstein spoke with the New York Post on Wednesday, the day hundreds of pages of unsealed documents from a lawsuit connected to his alleged sex-trafficking brother were publicly released – former President Bill Clinton is mentioned over 50 times, but no evidence of illegality on his part is included.

“Here’s a direct quote: ‘If I said what I know about both candidates, they’d have to cancel the election.’ That’s what Jeffrey told me in 2016,” Mark Epstein told the newspaper, speaking of a conversation he had with his billionaire brother.

When pressed on the comment, Mark said his brother never revealed to him exactly what he knew about the presidential nominees, the Post reported.

Hillary Clinton was not known to have a personal relationship with the convicted sex offender, but Bill has a long history of association. As the article noted, Epstein made at least 17 visits to the Clinton White House and the former president “also traveled across the world aboard Epstein’s jet, making trips to Europe, Asia and Africa in 2002 and 2003.”

As for Donald Trump, he “flew on Epstein’s private jet seven times in the ’90s, according to flight logs, jetting between Palm Beach, Florida, and New York, accompanied by family members on at least two occasions,” the Post reported.

The jet was dubbed “the Lolita Express” because it was used to ferry underage girls between Epstein’s various properties — his primary residence was in Palm Beach, Florida, but Epstein also had a home in New Mexico and owned his own private island in the Caribbean.

Ghislaine Maxwell, who is considered by many to be Epstein’s pimp, allegedly claimed there are video tapes of Trump and Clinton with women.

More from the Post:

Maxwell, a co-conspirator in the sex ring who is now jailed in Florida, allegedly claimed Epstein had video tapes showing Trump and Clinton in compromising positions with women.

“If you get the tapes on Trump, you have to do Clinton,” Maxwell said during a 2016 interview, former “60 Minutes” producer Ira Rosen alleged in his book, “Ticking Clock: Behind the Scenes at 60 Minutes.”

Trump referred to Epstein as a “terrific guy” during a 2002 interview with New York Magazine — the financier was arrested for the first time in Florida in 2005, accused of paying a teenage girl for sex.

“He’s a lot of fun to be with,” Trump said in the interview. “It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

In 2019, Trump said that there had been a parting of the ways.

“I had a falling out with him a long time ago, I don’t think I’ve spoken to him for 15 years,” Trump said, according to the Post. “I wasn’t a fan.”
