Maxine Waters basks in glory of Trump indictment, takes MSNBC victory lap

Few Democrats have operated at a consistently maxed-out level of Trump Derangement Syndrome for as long as Rep. Maxine Waters and the California lawmaker was particularly pleased over the unprecedented legal lynching of the former president by the rabidly partisan Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and a New York City grand jury.

The octogenarian Waters appeared on MSNBC where she took a victory lap, crowing about being vindicated that the 2024 Republican party frontrunner was indicted in a previously left-for-dead case involving an alleged “hush money” payment to smut queen Stormy Daniels, something that the often-raving congresswoman, one of her party’s cherished elders, had predicted would happen.

Waters discussed the latest developments in the great Trump hunt with the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart on the left-wing cable network during Saturday’s edition of “The Katie Phang Show” as a part of MSNBC’s extended coverage of the indictment, a development long in the making and the first time that the yearslong persecution of the bombastic billionaire businessman who upended the political world when he sprung the upset against heavily favored Hillary Clinton in 2016 has bore fruit after years of his Democrat enemies burning down the entire system in their quest for vengeance and now they are dancing a victory jig upon the ashes.

Capehart welcomed a beaming Waters, asking her “How do you feel about being right?”

“Well, I feel the justice is being served,” Waters replied. “This president has gotten away with some of the most ridiculous actions, ah, I think he’s violated the Constitution, I think he really does not care about our democracy,” dropping the “D” word which in the current era under Democrat rule has more in common with classical totalitarianism and outright communism than the longtime definition of the term which has now been rendered moot.

“And I think that it’s time for him to have to be held accountable, and so justice is being served. This president has earned this indictment.”

After the news came down, Waters gloated while praising Daniels, a testament to the moral decline of American society when a pornographic “actress” is elevated by media and political leaders, potentially serving as a role model for naive young girls who stand to be duped into being sucked into an industry that is notorious for destroying lives.

“SO Trump finally got indicted! I predicted he would and I predicted that Stormy Daniels would get him! Sometimes justice works!” Auntie Maxine tweeted.

And if there are any lingering questions as to what a raving obsessive kook that the congresswoman is, she STILL has the following pinned to the top of her Twitter page despite it now being widely acknowledged that the Trump-Russia collusion hoax was a “Big Lie” worthy of Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels but to true believers like the dug-in Waters, an unwavering belief in the debunked conspiracy theory is akin to religious dogma.

Previously, Rep. Waters had also told Capehart “This president has conducted himself in a way that he does not deserve NOT to be arrested. He should be arrested. He should be indicted, and the charges that he’s being indicted on are minimal as opposed to the charges that I believe he could have been indicted on,” spoken like a true fascist to whom arresting political adversaries is now as American as apple pie.
