Media runs with Trump ‘bloodbath’ hoax if he’s not elected – here’s the important context downplayed

Corporate media malignment set “bloodbath” trending in a blatant attempt to drum up a “hoax in real-time” against former President Donald Trump.

The years removed from “very fine people on both sides” haven’t seen a change in tactics with coverage of the GOP leader from his friends in fake news. If anything, the latest example after a campaign stop in Dayton, Ohio showed they’ve only grown shrewder in their shamelessness.

Saturday, ahead of the Buckeye State’s primary election, Trump joined Senate hopeful Bernie Moreno and other Republican figures on stage in the midst of one of his lengthy stump speeches. During his remarks, the president highlighted differing approaches to China’s impact on the American economy by himself and incumbent President Joe Biden prompting a slew of narrative-supporting headlines.

As the social media account End Wokeness described with a side-by-side of Trump’s actual remarks and the clickbait coverage, “We are witnessing the invention of the ‘bloodbath’ hoax in real-time…Unfortunately for them, we have X.”

Examples included CBS News, Rolling Stone and NBC News, which had titled an article, “Trump says there will be a ‘bloodbath’ if he loses the election,” only to clarify in the subheading that he was speaking “in the context of auto manufacturing.”

“If you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands the way I deal,” the president could be heard saying in front of a crowd of supporters. “Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now — and you think you’re gonna get that, you’re gonna not hire Americans and you’re gonna sell the cars to us — no.

“We’re gonna put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not gonna be able to sell those cars if I get elected,” he continued. “Now if I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s gonna be a bloodbath for the country. That’ll be the least of it. But they’re not gonna sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”

NBC News had sought comment from Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt who said, “Biden’s policies will create an economic bloodbath for the auto industry and auto workers.”

Meanwhile, Biden’s campaign released a statement to capitalize on the seeming in-kind contribution that read in part, “This is who Donald Trump is: a loser who gets beat by over 7 million votes and then instead of appealing to a wider mainstream audience doubles down on his threats of political violence. He wants another January 6, but the American people are going to give him another electoral defeat this November because they continue to reject his extremism, his affection for violence, and his thirst for revenge.”

As with many decrying the coverage, Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R) sounded off with a reality check. “This is a lie. #RadicalProgressiveDemocrats — not Trump — have caused an actual bloodbath for hard-working Americans with mass releases of illegal aliens, expensive job-killing ‘climate’ regulations, & race-baiting division of our nation.”

In addition to setting the record straight on Trump’s remarks, as rally attendee Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance (R) had done while also slamming Biden’s favor for Chinese electric vehicles, others jumped at the chance to ridicule the media bandwagon for once again demonstrating a willingness to toe the line for leftists.
