Megyn Kelly is done saying ‘transgender’: ‘It’s not a thing’

Where once she may have been described as an “ally,” talk of a “disturbingly high” Megyn Kelly statistic found the commentator declaring herself “Done!” with a “made-up word.”

“We’ve been engaging in this fiction for too long.”

Looking ahead to the first anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk on SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the host and her guest, Hoover Institute senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson, discussed the culture of death that has permeated the left.

On that subject, Kelly, who once sparred over bathroom access, announced that she would no longer be “using the term ‘trans’!”

Amid their conversation covering the mockery of the assassination by detractors, cheers for other killers, the embrace of abortions, and the suspected alphabet activism connection to Kirk’s alleged assassin, the Venn diagram overlap of gender ideology and mass killings loomed large.

Speaking of the “disturbingly high” numbers, Kelly asserted, “By the way, I want to say I’m done using the term ‘trans!’ Done!”

“I will say someone is gender-confused — sometimes they genuinely are, sometimes they’re faking it. But there’s no such thing as ‘trans.’ That’s not a thing,” she concluded. “You can’t transition your gender. We’ve been engaging in this fiction for too long. We’ve been playing their game by using that word.”

“It’s a made-up word to describe something that is a mental illness for which people deserve compassion, and empathy and support, not to transition themselves but to get comfortable with their own natural, God-given body and biological sex,” furthered the host. “But, I think the proper term is just that person is gender-confused.”

While many would likely determine Kelly was better late than never in arriving at a breaking point on playing the language games of ideologues, especially those who attempt to police against the First Amendment and reality with “preferred pronouns,” Tuesday’s stand marked a stark contrast from a decade prior.

During her Fox News days, Kelly once hosted Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) to discuss then-President Barack Obama’s directive requiring government-run schools to “allow transgender students access to such facilities consistent with their gender identity.”

While the elected official voiced concerns about sexual predators, the host countered, “A lot of sex offenders are men who molest men, who molest boys. Why is there an assumption that they need to sneak in the girls’ room?”

Kelly further argued that some of the crossdressers could pass for women, and you “would never know,” leading Patrick to assert she was “missing” the point.

A couple of years later, during her time with NBC, Kelly was all smiles as she hosted a cadre of “transgender kids” to promote “The GenderCool Project,” which she said is “actually really important.”

By 2024, chemical castration and genital mutilation found the commentator on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” concluding that “chopping off the healthy body parts of young children” wasn’t merely accepting who they are; it amounted to “trans insanity.”
