Megyn Kelly tore into Kim Kardashian after the celebrity superstar declined to cut ties with Spanish designer fashion house Balenciaga over a controversial ad campaign featuring little girls with BDSM-themed teddy bears in images so outrageous that the company’s brand is now chained at the hip with the sick sexualization of children that is plaguing society.
On Tuesday’s edition of her popular Sirius XM podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the conservative commentator said that Kardashian is a “disgusting, shameful billionaire” for her refusal to cut ties with Balenciaga which would have sent a strong message to the company about the exploitation of kids.
The reality TV star and businesswoman, who serves as one of the brand’s ambassadors, waited for days to comment on the depraved ads and when she did finally address the raging controversy, it wasn’t enough to quiet her critics with one of the most passionate ones being Kelly.
Even though the brand did pull the ad campaign under intense pressure, Kelly didn’t let either the company or one of its most high-profile partners off the hook, slamming Balenciaga’s response as “not good enough” and torching the ubiquitous influencer for refusing to “disassociate with the brand even though she’s a billionaire. She’s a disgusting, shameful billionaire because the money is worth more than her morals and the protection of these children to her.”
“And can I tell you, it’s not even — I don’t believe it is the money for her. It’s her vanity. It’s her need to see herself in the Balenciaga dresses, looking high-fashion, because she’s jealous of the one sister who really is a high-fashion model, and she’s been a wannabe on this front for the past couple years, running around — here she is featured in Balenciaga wear at the Met Gala a couple years ago,” Kelly later added.
“This too is a misogynistic outfit, with her face entirely covered, because there’s somebody sick at Balenciaga working on the set design and the imagery and the fashion choices, because covering a woman like this is disturbing and dark and Kim couldn’t, shouldn’t have done it and Balenciaga shouldn’t have done it. But I think she can’t let go of her own imagery as this high-fashion model. She — it’s her vanity that’s making her slow to say goodbye. It’s not the money,” Kelly continued.
She also said that the Balenciaga ads amounted to the “sexualization of children” and “titillating to pedophiles.”
“I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again,” tweeted Kardashian, who said that she is “currently re-evaluating” her relationship by” basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with.”
As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children.

The former Fox News anchor has been a frequent critic of Kardashian and the negative effect that her persona has had on American culture and society.
“I’ve been going on a tear over her for the past couple of days because every time I open my paper, there she is again, and I find it deeply alarming,” Kelly said on a recent edition of her podcast. “What are we celebrating? Her enormous fake ass?”
