An appearance by the former first lady appeared to put to rest the question “Where’s Melania?” as supporters looked ahead to a different homecoming.
Since former President Donald Trump announced his third bid for the White House in Nov. 2022, the limited public appearances from his wife have kept rumor mills churning about a rift between the couple.
Saturday night at their Palm Beach, Florida resort residence Mar-a-Lago, the once, and many hoped future, FLOTUS may have at last settled the speculation to much fanfare from event attendees and social media spectators.
“Our First Lady Melania Trump,” the fan account FLOTUS Report captioned a video of her entering the event with the president as well as former candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and his wife Apoorva.

Dubbed, “A Golden Evening for a Golden President,” the gathering presented by Trumpettes USA, INC. founder Toni Holt Kramer took place shortly after the GOP leader had spoken at a rally in Conway, South Carolina as the third contest of the Republican presidential primary drew near.
Additional footage from the grand entry showed Trump catching up to his wife and placing a kiss on her cheek before escorting her to the side of the stage ahead of his remarks which she watched beside the Ramaswamys.

Unlike Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner who had addressed maintaining distance from the campaign to focus on their family, Melania mostly remained out of the public eye with her son Barron Trump, especially leading up to the passing of her mother Amalija Knavs.
During the New Year’s Eve bash at Mar-a-Lago, the president had addressed his wife’s absence while she remained at her mother’s bedside at a hospital in Miami until she passed away on Jan. 9 at the age of 78.
In January, while interviewing with Fox News, Trump had said Melania would have a “very active” role in the 2024 campaign as he lauded her, “She’s very smart, a very compassionate person.”
On stage at the event that the Palm Beach Post reported cost anywhere from $850-$2,500 to attend, Trump spoke to the nearly 1,000 gathered and said, “First of all, our great first lady,” earning cheers for Melania.
The gathered admirers weren’t alone in fawning over the former president’s wife as many viewed the appearance as another signal that the campaign had moved beyond the primary and was geared up for the general election contest.
“Making Preparations for being our FLOTUS once again in 2024,” remarked one as others took some shots at Jill Biden by referring to Melania as the “real first lady.”
Still others encapsulated the sentiment shared by many, counting down the days to Nov. 5 as well as the potential second term of President Trump, and said, “I can’t wait for them to be back in the White House.”
