In 2005, conservative talk show host, Michael Savage wrote a best-selling book titled: Liberalism is a Mental Disorder, and since then, woke-progressives have outdone themselves to prove this assertion.  They have also done a fantastic job in the area of the double standard.  Hypocrisy, as defined by the Merriam Webster dictionary, is “a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not: behavior that contradicts what one claims to believe or feel.” There are so many issues where liberals are either incapable of realizing that their insane views are both hypocritical and an exercise in rationalization that borders on psychological illness.  Let’s look at a few examples.

One of the most glaring instances of libocrisy is the impeachment of Donald Trump because of claims that his words incited the January 6th “insurrection.”  Former president Trump basically called upon his supporters to protest what he believed was what he believed was a stolen election.  He talked about Americans “fighting back,” but if this was a call for violence, then any football coach who ever talked to his team about “fighting” should be indicted for insurrection.  One thing that can’t be refuted are Trump’s actual words, which are as follows, “I know that everyone will be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”  Democrats immediately jumped on these words and impeached the former president.  Yet, are these words more inciting than these words from democratic members of Congress?

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out, and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Maxine Waters

“Go to the Hill today. Get up, and please get up in the face of some congresspeople.” Corey Booker

“… you have to be ready to take a punch, and you have to be ready to throw a punch.” Nancy Pelosi

“I want to tell you Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward.” Senator Chuck Schumer

Despite the fact that these quotes (and many others from democrats) are far more inflammatory and inciting, none of the democrats who spoke them ever faced anything close to losing their jobs as legislators.  

Other areas where those on the left exude hypocritical thinking includes the use of age to either support an agenda or attack a position they don’t like.  Liberals support the raising of the age of someone to own a gun to 18 because 18 year olds aren’t “mature enough” to own guns.  They also believe that 18 year olds who make the decision to borrow thousands of dollars to go to college should have their student loans paid for by everyone else.  However, they firmly believe that 6 year olds and pre-teens are mature enough to make choices regarding their gender and would support children receiving hormone therapy or engaging in gender reassignment surgery.  They believe that young children are “mature” enough to hear about sexual topics and see these kind of things as a “healthy” educational practice, even if it violates the rights of parents.

The daily rationalizations of identity politicians and marginalized groups defies logical thinking.  Those on the left are very vocal about inequity, but when it comes down to it, they support inequity through their actions.  One would only have to look at the left’s support for trans females who are competing against biological females because, in the liberal mind, trans males don’t have an unfair advantage over biological females and it is convenient to ignore the fact that science is a consensus of evidence that will collapse in the face of social justice warriors and their delusional thinking.  

Liberals support biological males (who were unsuccessful competing with other biological males) competing and taking away scholarships and awards from biological females, but are silent about professional sports that have no biological males competing at the professional level in sports like tennis (WUSTA), basketball (WNBA), and golf (LPGA).  Their irrational beliefs overlook the idea of fairness in sports in the guise of social justice, but ignore biological differences that create unfair advantages.  Are they able to explain why boxing employs weight classes and you will not see featherweights boxing against heavyweights due to this sound reasoning?

Liberal politicians were all about defunding and vilifying the police, erecting monuments to career criminals and of course, disarming the average citizen, despite the fact that they are protected by armed guards.  They were also quick to staunchly support abortion as a woman’s “bodily autonomy,” but many of these same individuals ardently condemned anyone who demanded “bodily autonomy” and refused to get COVID vaccinations.  

Liberals are the first ones to cite instances of stereotyping and condemn judging members of racial, religious and ethnic groups because making generalizations about people without knowing anything about their personal situations is wrong.  However, they are all in on “white privilege” and unproven generalization that basically makes a generalization about ALL white people.  They are quick to defend and support critical race theory and make claims that it isn’t being taught in schools despite videos and evidence to the contrary of teacher actually teaching it.  

Liberals were upset about Elon Musk, a self-proclaimed libertarian, purchasing Twitter because it would disrupt their left leaning stranglehold on social media (since they own Facebook, Youtube etc.) that employ so-called “fact” checkers who overwhelmingly fact check conservative posts and videos far more than left wing ones.

Liberals scream about taxing the rich and demanding that corporations “pay their fair share,” but when the republican governor of Florida decided to remove tax exemptions from Disney, left wingers lined up in their support of Disney.   

Many liberals (PETA) claim to be pro-animals, but that didn’t stop a Tik-Tok user who admitted to weighing over 240 pounds from going on a rant because she was told by a ranch that she visited that she could not ride one of their horses because of her weight.  I’m sure there is a very grateful horse at that farm.

Cognitive trickery and dishonesty combined with genuine delusional thinking and embracing of illogical positions is the trademark for woke liberal notions that are fortunately a minority among Americans who have realized that hypocrisy is a cardinal sin, especially for politicians.  As Americans wake up to the lunacy that has taken hold of the democratic party, the November elections cannot come soon enough because it is one thing to believe your perceptions are reality when you walk into a female restroom, but gas prices aren’t subject to identity politics because the picture of George Washington on your dollar bill doesn’t miraculously turn into Benjamin Franklin because you want it to be that way.
