Michigan sheriff warns of ‘organized transnational gangs’ in deep blue county

The border crisis left a Michigan sheriff warning residents to remain alert for “transnational gangs” striking communities in a “rash of high-end burglaries” across the country.

“…America is getting crushed…”

Blue state blues have continued throughout the United States as leftists continue to experience firsthand the devastating impact of an ongoing invasion of illegal aliens as the leaders they’ve elected have shown similar disregard for national sovereignty.

In Oakland County, Michigan, where presidential elections have favored the Democratic Party since the re-election of President Bill Clinton in 1996, the Republican Sheriff Michael Bouchard sounded warnings over South and Central American gangs targeting citizens.

“More and more the conclusion is pretty obvious that these are transnational gangs that are involved in this, that come from South America looking to do burglaries and violate our communities, not just in Oakland County, but across America,” he explained at a press conference.

Bouchard explained that the criminals were believed to have originated in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru and Venezuela.

“It’s criminality at its organized crime best in terms of that’s how it functions. They work together, and they’re here for a specific purpose,” the sheriff stated as jewelry, electronics, expensive purses, precious metals and cash were listed among belongings taken in around eight to 11 cases within a year.

“They typically hit homes from 5 to 9 p.m., they seem to want houses where nobody’s home and they usually come in through windows in the back,” warned Bouchard. “They do a lot of surveillance, we believe, before they commit a crime. Usually, it’s two or three people working together, with one of them stationed outside as a driver.”

In a separate message posted to Facebook, the sheriff encouraged residents to “see something” and “say something” and acknowledged, “There is in fact a rash of high-end burglaries that are occurring in numerous communities across the county. We believe it is a targeted type of thing and it’s from folks well outside of Michigan.”

“They’re focused on the target, not on the community. They don’t recognize jurisdictions or borders of a country, a state or a county,” he indicated in his press conference as he foisted blame on a failure from the government to address the crisis at the southern border.

“Border security for everybody is critically important…Secure the border first and foremost because America is getting crushed with fentanyl, human trafficking, terrorist activity that is a ticking time bomb in my opinion, and obviously, transnational gangs that are attacking communities right here in Oakland County,” decried Bouchard.

The simple message from the sheriff comes as Democrat infighting has attempted to shift a narrative of blame around. Recently, former President Bill Clinton spoke to the tens of thousands of illegals that have flooded New York City and criticized former Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) for not wanting to work with him to help address issues in the Big Apple’s system.

Of course, the shift in blame did not negate that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas had extended Temporary Protected Status for Venezuelans who had entered the country illegally before July 31, 2023, over safety concerns even after reports had alleged that the South American nation’s President Nicolás Maduro Moros had allowed for prisoners to be let out and pointed toward the United States.

“Secure the border, fix the immigration system, do your damn job,” slammed Bouchard.
