More than 40 confidential informants have provided “criminal information” on President Joe Biden and his family members going back to the days when he was Barack Obama’s veep, according to Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) who is demanding answers.
In a Tuesday letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, the Iowa Republican raised concerns that details that investigations into potentially illegal activities of Biden, his brother James Biden, and his son Hunter Biden were being “shut down” to protect the patriarch of the powerful clan.
“This letter is based on years of investigation, including the provision of information, records, and allegations from multiple Justice Department whistleblowers that indicate there is – and has been – an effort among certain Justice Department and FBI officials to improperly delay and stop full and complete investigative activity into the Biden family,” Grassley wrote in the letter that was dated October 24.

“This alleged political infection breaks faith with the American people, and it will ruin our governmental institutions should it continue. As just one initial example, I’ve been made aware that at one point in time the FBI maintained over 40 Confidential Human Sources that provided criminal information relating to Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden,” the letter reads.
“An essential question that must be answered is this: did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down?” Grassley asked. “Indeed, if those sources were improperly shut down, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for the FBI.”
The confidential sources were managed by multiple FBI field offices and investigations were stymied by the Washington Field Office with one example being that in 2020, whistleblower information about Hunter Biden’s “criminal financial and related activity” was shut down “based on false assertions that it was subject to foreign disinformation,” Grassley wrote.
The senator lists multiple examples of the shady dealings of the Bidens that were being investigated outside of D.C. in the seven-page letter.
Fox News host Jesse Watters reported on Grassley’s letter during Wednesday’s edition of “Jesse Watters Primetime” where he suggested to viewers that the FBI has been blackmailing the deeply corrupt career politician.
“Not only was Biden blackmailing other countries and other countries blackmailing him, but the FBI was blackmailing Biden,” he said.

“Senator Chuck Grassley just announced that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has had 40 informants inside the Biden family for the last 15 years. What does that mean?” Watters asked. “It’s exactly what you think. 40 FBI informants, going back to the time Joe Biden was vice-president, have been providing criminal information to FBI field offices throughout the country.”
“40 FBI informants have been feeding the bureau exactly what Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden have been doing all over the world,” he added. “Primetime isn’t sure the FBI had this many informants working on the Trump campaign. So what does it mean that the FBI has had the Biden family wired? And what does it mean that the FBI hasn’t done a thing? Well, it tells me that the FBI knows all of the president’s dirty laundry and is blackmailing him.”
“Based on the information provided to my office over a period of years by multiple credible whistleblowers, there appears to be an effort within the Justice Department and FBI to shut down investigative activity relating to the Biden family. Such decisions point to significant political bias infecting the decision-making of not only the Attorney General and FBI Director, but also line agents and prosecutors. Our Republic cannot survive such a political infection and you have an obligation to this country to clear the air,” Grassley told Garland and Wray in the letter.
