Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) isn’t the type who gives up and she’s taking another shot at a formal House rebuke of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) after her initial effort was defeated last week.
Tlaib, a member of the gang of smack-talking left-wing Democrats known as “The Squad” was allowed to go unpunished for her lies and strident rhetoric about Israel and inciting a mob to invade the Capitol complex when over 20 Republicans balked at voting for her censure resolution.
On Saturday, in an effort to placate the squeamish GOP lawmakers, she modified the language to remove the term “insurrection” and announced that she would be reintroducing the resolution to punish the Jew-hating Democrat.
“I’m reintroducing my censure resolution against Terrorist Tlaib,” MTG wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I am removing “insurrection” and replacing it with “illegal occupation” on Oct 18th that broke the same federal laws as Jan 6 and led to hundreds of arrest and assault on Cap Police.”

“Hopefully the 23 Republicans who voted no to censure Pro-terrorists Pro-Hamas Anti-Israel anti-Semitic Rashida Tlaib will use their freedom of speech in congress to censure (condemn) Terrorist Tlaib’s speech, lies, and actions that incited an illegal occupation on Oct 18th,” she added.

“They censured Adam Schiff so they should be able to vote to censure her,” the congresswoman said in a third post. We can not stand by doing nothing while one of our colleagues calls for the genocide of our great friend and ally Israel. Terrorist Tlaib should be expelled but let’s see if we can at least censure her.”

Taylor Greene included a tweet from the Hamas mouthpiece in which she tried to explain away her Friday sharing of a video with the slogan “From the river to the sea” which has been chanted at anti-Israel rallies and has been interpreted to mean a genocide of the Israeli people.
In the video posted by Tlaib, she accused President Joe Biden of enabling genocide along with images of dead bodies and bloodied children so graphic that X had to slap a warning on it.

Hopefully, the GOP holdouts will be inspired by MTG’s tenacity and determination to show Americans that Tlaib’s anti-Semitism is completely unacceptable in the halls of Congress.
