Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is refusing to admit that she had any knowledge of former President Joe Biden’s decline.
We are now far enough removed from the 2024 election that it’s becoming acceptable for the left to admit that there was something wrong with Biden. That said, there is at least one person unwilling to say she saw the decline in real time.
Speaking at Politico’s The California Agenda: Sacramento Summit on Tuesday, Pelosi claimed she had no idea that the former president was mentally declining, and that “those who knew” should have done something about it.

Pelosi said those close to Biden during his reelection campaign should have shared what they knew about his mental acuity.

“When you think of the debate and how sad that was, that was when we really learned. Because you see, I had been Speaker, and when I was Speaker I saw the president all the time. But when I wasn’t, I saw him maybe 3 times that whole year. So I didn’t know, and I think he had his ups and downs, and when I saw him one time he was giving me the Presidential Medal of Freedom, so that is a short event and he was perfectly fine that day, I thought,” she said. “So I don’t know, but I do think that those who did know should have acted upon that information, whatever that means.”
“His staff and his family both, you mean?” asked Politico’s Jonathan Martin.
“Well, whoever knew. Whoever knew. The staff’s saying the family knew, the family’s saying the staff knew, so I don’t know,” Pelosi emphasized.
“But they should have acted sooner?” Martin said.
“They should have, because this is a great man,” the former speaker said before the clip ended.

Yeah it was a huge secret that absolutely no one knew Biden had dementia in year one which turned into severe dementia by year 4. But he “beat Medicare”. Or so he told us in his one debate vs Trump. But Pelosi also has dementia so maybe she really didn’t know.
