The National Border Patrol Council gave the Biden administration a heads-up in a post calling out the “morons” who don’t believe efforts to reduce illegal immigration in Texas are working.
“Those who say Gov Abbott isn’t reducing illegal immigration are morons,” the account for the labor union that represents the United States Border Patrol posted Thursday.
“In December there were 72k arrests in the Del Rio Sector, which includes Eagle Pass,” the post continued. “In January, after the Shelby Park seizure by TX NG, it came down to 16k.”

Amid the tensions between President Joe Biden’s administration and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott over razor wire fencing along a stretch of the Rio Grande in Eagle Pass, NBPC President Brandon Judd praised the GOP leader.
“I’m glad for what Gov. Abbott is doing, because what it’s allowing us to do, we’re able to deploy our resources to other areas that we haven’t been able to patrol for several years now. And so, that’s allowing us to go after the gotaways—that segment of the people that cause a great deal of problem here in the United States,” Judd said on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria.”
“What he is doing is operating as a force multiplier. It is very good what he is doing for the American people. It’s something that President [Joe] Biden should be doing but he refuses to do because, again, he cares more about his base than he does about the American people.”
In another post on X, the union called out Biden for rescinding the policies of his predecessor, former President Donald Trump.

“Yesterday, Biden released another 6,200 illegal aliens into the US. Another 741 were known to escape apprehension,” the NBPC noted on Wednesday.
“Then, as always, there are the untold numbers who escape detection entirely,” the post continued. “Enough will never be enough for Biden. Millions released, millions more to come.”
