Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed was ripped six ways from Sunday over his message marking the 25th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
On Friday, as America engaged in solemn remembrance for the day that will forever live in infamy, the Michigan Muslim threw in his two cents despite the murderous attack being carried out by fellow practitioners of the so-called “religion of peace.”
“Today on 9/11, we remember and honor the lives that were taken from us in a terrible act of terrorism. Nothing can justify the murder of innocent civilians. Nothing,” El-Sayed wrote in an X post, sharing a short video of his spiel.

“They didn’t just attack America that day; they attacked the idea of America,” the candidate said in a video posted to social media.
“The notion of a nation brought together by ideals — a place where freedom and commitment to justice bind us, even if, at times, we struggle to fully realize it,” El-Sayed continued. “Today on 9/11 we remember the lives that were taken from us in a terrible act of terrorism.”
The candidate has taken much flak for his decision to campaign with firebrand streamer Hasan Piker, a man who has opined that America “deserved 9/11.”
The reaction from X users was scorching hot, with many zinging El-Sayed over his chummy relationship with Piker and the hypocrisy of chiming in on 9/11 while refusing to distance himself from the deplorable nephew of “Young Turks” founder Cenk Uygur.
