New GOP-led J6 committee kicks off, and the Democrats are already trying to hijack it

The GOP-led House committee to probe lingering questions about the so-called “insurrection” on January 6, 2021, officially kicked off, and Democrats are already trying to hijack the agenda.

On Wednesday, the Select Subcommittee to Investigate the Remaining Questions Surrounding January 6 held its first hearing on Capitol Hill, five years after the fateful day that allowed the Biden regime to weaponize the federal legal apparatus to go after its political enemies and has since become the unofficial religion of the Democratic Party.

“My objective in this committee is to get the truth, without political bias, of what happened,” the new panel’s chairman, Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), said during the initial hearing, which focused on the Christopher Wray-led FBI’s investigation into the pipe bombs planted at the RNC and DNC and the failure to apprehend the perpetrator.

“The obsession with persecuting Trump supporters left no institutional impetus to get to the bottom of the pipe bomber mystery,” testified retired FBI agent John Nantz, a witness at Wednesday’s hearing.

After years of inaction spanning the entirety of disgraced former President Joe Biden’s tenure, the FBI identified and arrested a suspect, Brian Cole Jr., in December.

It is a long-overdue counter to the brazenly dishonest and one-sided panel that was hand-picked by former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and headed up by Trump-hating malicious actor Liz Cheney as one of two “Republicans” tapped to give it the illusion of bipartisanship.

Pelosi’s panel, a meticulously choreographed, Soviet-style sham, failed to resonate with the American public, who were so unimpressed that they would vote to send President Donald J. Trump back to the White House in the 2024 election, a result that the original J6 committee was created to prevent.

Democrats, including original J6 committee member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), were uninterested in getting honest answers, once again making it all about Trump.

“There are some lingering questions — most of them could be answered by Donald Trump, who’s never once testified under oath about what he did on Jan. 6,” declared Raskin, the panel’s ranking member.

“The truth is a resilient thing. We’re not going to put up with a pack of lies in this subcommittee and a bunch of conspiracy theories,” added Raskin, a serial liar who has few equals when it comes to being a conspiracy monger.

Another committee Democrat, Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), used the hearing for more of the performative grandstanding that is his brand.

“Well, nothing that can be said around the edges of this nightmare are ever going to take away or erase the indelible truth of what happened. The President, not being able to handle his loss by more than 7 million votes in the presidential election, used every means at his disposal to try to overturn the election,” Raskin said in his opening statement, continuing to push the big lie.

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s unprecedented rejection of Kevin McCarthy’s selections for the Select Committee set a partisan tone, resulting in a panel that lacked a true ranking minority member and operated without essential checks and balances,” Rep. Loudermilk said in a statement marking the 5th anniversary of the big day.

“This allowed Rep. Thompson, former Rep. Liz Cheney, and the rest of their pardoned Select Committee Member colleagues to ignore exculpatory evidence, suppress dissenting witnesses, and operate without due process or cross-examination,” he added.

“True accountability requires focusing on facts, not selective storytelling for partisan gain. My Select Subcommittee remains committed to transparency and accountability and ensuring the security failures that occurred on January 6 and the partisan investigation that followed never happens again,” the chairman pledged.
