New Jeffrey Epstein docs reveal more names and connections in extensive network of power players

Actors, influencers, bank executives and billionaires were just a few of the figures found to be associated with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein after serving jail time.

At the end of April, a “trove of documents” had been reported by The Wall Street Journal detailing some of the appointments held by Epstein. Among them were President Joe Biden’s CIA director William Burns and former White House counsel during President Barack Obama’s administration Kathryn Ruemmler, now an attorney for Goldman Sachs.

Now, reports from the Daily Mail and the Daily Beast have added the likes of JP Morgan executives Jes Staley and Jamie Dimon, billionaires Richard Branson and Peter Thiel, and even potentially actor and comedian Chris Rock to the mix.

“The hundreds of pages in the files give an unprecedented insight into the late pedophile’s extraordinary network of power and influence,” the Mail reported Tuesday.

While individuals like Bill Gates and Woody Allen had previously been linked to Epstein, the schedules that contained private emails and phone numbers detailed the scope of his connections even after serving more than a year of an 18-month sentence as a sex offender.

One Sept. 2013 calendar event read “Dinner w/Woody Allen, Soon Yi, Tim Zagat, Nina Zagat, Bobby Slayton, David Brenner (MAYBE-David is not feeling well), Nick Pritzker, Nick’s friend Craig Robins, Karyna, Martin Nowak, Jes Staley, Leon Botstein, Michael Wolff, Richard Wurman, Jeffrey…maybe Chris Rock.”

The outlet spoke with a source close to Rock who contended that the comedian, though “friendly with Woody Allen” had not attended that dinner and may have been confused by Epstein with Chris Tucker.

As previously reported, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates may have been blackmailed by Epstein after obtaining knowledge of a relationship between the billionaire and Russian bridge player Mila Antonova while he was still married to Melinda Gates. “The implication behind the message, according to people who have viewed it, was that Epstein could reveal the affair if Gates didn’t keep up an association between the two men.”

According to the Mail, after efforts to get Gates to invest, “Epstein’s pursuit of Gates appears to have culminated in the dinner at his New York home with Melinda Gates, which is thought to have been the only time she met Epstein.”

“Epstein rolled out the red carpet with some of his most important friends: Thorbjorn Jagland, the former Norwegian politician, and Norwegian diplomat Terje Rød Larsen, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers and his wife and Eva Dubin, his former girlfriend and her daughter Celina, who treated Epstein like an uncle,” the report added. “The note says that ‘Richard Branson may join the dinner.'”

The report from the Beast further detailed, “Also on Epstein’s schedule were at least one appointment with Irina Shayk, phone calls with Tommy Mottola, get-togethers with Jeff Koons, meet-ups with Wendi Murdoch, and dinners out with magician David Blaine.”

Other dubious missives from the cache included a March 2015 email from Staley seven months before his appointment to head Barclays where he said his daughter wanted to speak to Epstein “about her future….Columbia (University) confirmed they want her to get her degree July 1st. So please save the date. You need to be there.”

As all of this information comes to light, of note was an email from Epstein’s executive assistant Lesley Groff’s attorney Michael Bachner, who according to the Beast wrote: “Over the course of Ms Groff’s employment with Mr. Epstein, she made hundreds of appointments every day for him for a wide range of individuals, including professors, politicians, actors and their spouses. It was simply not her function to ask the reason for any appointment and never suspected that Mr. Epstein was engaged in illegal conduct. Not surprisingly, Ms. Groff was notified by law enforcement well over a year ago that she would not be charged with any wrongdoing in connection with her employment with Mr. Epstein.”
