‘New talking point?’ Hollywood actor drops Barron Trump ‘anchor baby’ accusation following SCOTUS ruling

Social media accounts weighing in on birthright citizenship were raked over the coals for an ignorant jab at President Donald Trump’s family.

Barron Trump’s citizenship was the focus in one post on X, where the user claimed the first son is an “anchor baby” as his mother, Melania Trump, was not a U.S. citizen until after he was born.

One could almost hear the facepalms across X as responses poured in to educate the ignorant.

“Are you ignorant or just spreading lies? Trump was born to a father who was born in New York. His citizenship is not in question therefor neither is Barron’s,” one X user pointed out.

“His father is a US citizen married to a legal permanent resident when his son was born to her. Completely different than children of illegal migrants and birth tourist,” another noted.

But the issue continued to dog those struggling to understand the birthright citizenship debate.

Try as they might, X users could not seem to get “Warren” to understand.

“So just to be clear, if a woman comes here while she’s already pregnant in search of a better life, that’s a bad thing,” he posted. “But if a woman comes here in search of a better life and then gets pregnant by a man who was already a citizen, that’s a good thing?”
