New whistleblower docs shed damning new light on purpose of ‘disinformation board’, destroy DHS claims

With the help of newly disclosed whistleblower documents, Republican Senators Chuck Grassley (Iowa) and Josh Hawley (Mo.) have destroyed the testimony of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to Congress regarding the Biden administration’s failed Disinformation Governance Board and the tracking of Americans who exercise their First Amendment right to free speech.

“As it turns out… the people that the Biden administration thinks are the real threat to America — it’s not the drug cartels, it’s not foreign threats — it’s you,” Sen. Hawley told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson. “It’s the American people. If you have questions about COVID, if you have questions about COVID masks, if you have questions about the COVID vaccine, this administration wanted you to be monitored. This disinformation board was set up to go after you. That’s what the documents say.”

“By the way,” he added, “election integrity? Same story. The documents specifically mention that they needed there to be a disinformation board because some people were having questions about election integrity. Some people had questions about January 6. Well, we couldn’t have that. And this board was set up to monitor that. That was what was in their sights.”

As House Dems prepare for the debut of their prime time hearings in a bid to convince Americans that the events of January 6 were the worst thing to happen to our nation since the Civil War, it’s a chilling statement from the outspoken senator, and it directly contradicts what Mayorkas stated in his May 4 testimony regarding the disinformation board.

According to Mayorkas, the fledgling Disinformation Governance Board “had not yet begun its work.” Just a few days earlier, on May Day, he stated the board would be focusing on disinformation “from foreign state adversaries” and “cartels,” Townhall reports, adding that former White House press secretary Jen Psaki made similar claims on May 2, when she stated the board would focus on “human traffickers and other transnational criminal organizations.”

But the documents obtained by Grassley and Hawley tell a very different story.

In a September 13, 2021 memo from Under Secretary Robert Silvers and Senior National Security Counselor Vinograd to Mayorkas on “organizing DHS efforts to counter disinformation,” we are given a more accurate view of what disinformation the Biden administration fears most.

Mentioned in the memo is “disinformation related to the origins and effects of COVID-19 vaccines or the efficacy of masks,” “conspiracy theories about the validity and security of elections,” and a warning about “falsehoods surrounding U.S. Government immigration policy.”

In a moment that illustrates an almost unbelievable lack of self-awareness, the memo also cautions that the board’s mission “must not be politicized and must be protected from the perceptions of politicization.”

In a second memo, dated January 31, 2022, Under Secretary Silvers and Acting Principal Deputy General Counsel Jennifer Daskal sought Mayorkas’ approval of the board’s charter, which explains that it “will go into effect when signed by the Secretary of Homeland Security.”

Mayorkas allegedly signed the charter on February 24, meaning he lied directly to Congress when, on May 4, he claimed under oath that the Disinformation Governance Board “had not yet begun its work.”

Perhaps even more disturbing is the revelation that DHS met with Twitter executives “to discuss operationalizing public-private partnerships.” In the briefer, the DHS is instructed to “propose that Twitter become involved in Disinformation Governance Board Analytic Exchanges on Domestic Violent Extremism (DVE) and Irregular Migration.”

It is a level of collusion between Big Tech and the United States Government that, if enacted, represents the very definition of fascism.

“In terms of economics, fascism incorporates elements of both capitalism and socialism,” according to Hein Online. “Fascist economists advocate for self-sufficiency and individual profit, but promote government subsidies of corporations. Fascist economics thus supports a blend of both private and public ownership over the means of production—there is an emphasis on private profit, but at the same time, the national interest is ultimately more important.”

And, if the whistleblower documents are any indication, it’s exactly the system President Joe Biden and his administration want for the United States of America.
