Bodycam footage captured the arrest of fat activist “Jae Bae” and things got very out of hand, very quickly.
For those unfamiliar with “Jae Bae,” whose real name is Jae’lynn Chaney, BizPac Review has previously reported on some of her exploits, which include demanding airline accommodations for fat passengers who face “discrimination and discomfort” and widening hotel hallways in the name of “inclusive hospitality.”
But now, she’s going viral for an entirely different reason.
Newly published bodycam footage shows how Chaney reacted to getting arrested, courtesy of YouTube channel Arrest Cam:
The 31-minute video shows Chaney in a hospital after staff reportedly called the police “in reference to Jaelynn attacking her now ex-fiancé over alleged infidelity.” She immediately launches into a bizarre story rife with disturbing allegations, claims of reports being made and God bringing her to the hospital. Eventually, she was trespassed from the building and the situation only got worse from there.
During the officers’ attempt to arrest her, (after she allegedly threatened to “kill” the officers, and then proceeded to strike one in the face,) she spewed abusive rhetoric and screamed that the officers were trying to “rape” her.
“That is the last thing that we will ever do,” the bored-sounding cop said in response to her heinous allegation.
She was eventually charged with “two counts of criminal trespass, misuse of the 911 system, interfering with a healthcare facility, resisting arrest, obstructing law enforcement officers, and assault,” according to the YouTube channel. Eventually, she was found mentally incompetent.
Since the incident, Chaney has pretty much disappeared from the internet, with her most recent social media post and YouTube uploads being dated just days before the February arrest took place. It is unclear if she has any plans to return to making content, or if her disappearance is related to any mental health treatment she’s receiving as a result of being deemed incompetent.
One X user noticed that she also looks thinner in a recently released image:
