Newly released info on would-be Trump assassin Crooks shows deviant behavior, furry links and other strange patterns

The would-be Trump assassin who opened fire at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania last year was a gender-pronoun-using, furry-linked, violence-loving dude who initially liked President Donald Trump but later grew to despise him during the COVID pandemic.

Thomas Crooks, the now-deceased Butler shooter who killed Trump supporter Corey Comperatore, started out as a Trump supporter himself.

“I always believed being patriotic was lining up a bunch of socialist Jews (like the ones that booed Trump) and blasting their useless brains out with an AR,” he wrote on YouTube in 2019 after Trump was booed at the World Series in Washington, D.C., according to the New York Post.

“Everyone of the trump hating democrats deserve to have their heads chopped of and put on steaks for the world to see what happens when you f–k with America [sic],” he wrote on YouTube in response to an MSNBC clip that aired and was published in July of 2019.

Notice the constant focus on violence, which was repeated again when he attacked the Democratic “Squad” in a post published on July 20, 2019.

“I hope a quick painful death to all the deplorable immigrants and anti-trump congresswoman who dont deserve anything this countru has given them [sic],” Crooks wrote in the violent post.

Everything changed when the COVID pandemic began and Trump rightly refused to impose draconian restrictions — mask mandates, social distancing mandates, public gathering bans — on the public.

This infuriated Crooks.

“I’m pretty sure people are just racist and Trump is one of them, there does not need to be a deep state for that,” he wrote on YouTube in 2020.

In another post, he accused Trump of being “too slow” to respond to the COVID pandemic and added that “everything he’s doing now” to respond to the crisis, “should have been done” earlier.

Around this time, he started posting violent imagery to DeviantArt, an online art community that’s notorious for its furry community.

One piece of artwork he published to DeviantArt in 2023 showed “a figure clad in black executing another figure, in front of a blue and pink backdrop — matching the colors of the trans pride flag.”

“Another artwork from the following month, titled ‘Killing pedos,’ shows a figure holding a rifle after fatally shooting two individuals, one of whom is wearing blue and pink clothes,” the New York Post notes.

On DeviantArt, he reportedly identified with “they/them” pronouns.

Crooks’ YouTube and Google searches also demonstrated a predilection for violence.

“Between 2019 and 2020, he made searches for Lee Harvey Oswald’s killer, Jack Ruby, the Oklahoma bombing, and the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, among other attacks,” the Post notes. “He also searched how to fire an AR-15 ‘as fast as possible,’ as well as how to make a fertilizer bomb and a Molotov cocktail.”

In August of 2020, he wrote a comment on YouTube discussing ways to fight and potentially defeat a government with terrorism.

“IMO the only way to fight the gov is with terrorism style attacks, sneak a bomb into an essential building and set it off before anyone sees you, track down any important people/politicians/military leaders etc and try to assassinate them,” he wrote.

He did admit that such an attack could be a kamikaze mission.

“Any sort of head-to-head fight is suicide, and even ambush/surprise attacks likely aren’t going to end well,” he noted.

Crooks was also reportedly into “muscle mommies,” i.e., female bodybuilders. Multiple searches for them were found in his YouTube search history.

Meanwhile, on DeviantArt, one of his accounts “shared just one post, a repost of a towering, muscular female bodybuilder and a slight man in his underwear.”
