NICE! Trump endorses proposed ICE name change that will drive Democrats bonkers

President Donald J. Trump put his stamp of approval on a proposed name change for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and it is guaranteed to drive Democrats completely bonkers.

The federal immigration enforcement agency has been demonized by elected Democrats and their media allies, who have whipped up hysteria that deporting illegal aliens is fascism, painting targets on the backs of ICE agents who have been portrayed as racists and Nazis, making their jobs increasingly more dangerous.

Last month, a social media user suggested renaming the agency as National Immigration and Customs Enforcement (NICE) “so the media has to say NICE agents all day, every day.”

On Sunday night, the president endorsed the rebrand.

“GREAT IDEA!!! DO IT. President DJT,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, sharing the original post.

You have to admit, NICE agents has a great ring to it and would be a great response to the onslaught of dishonest propaganda that has turned ICE into a dirty word in the minds of many Americans who are susceptible to Democrat gaslighting.

The White House jumped on board with the idea.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also shared a Fox News report about Trump’s support for the new name.

X users are also down with the rebrand, with one top MAGA influencer urging new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin to get behind NICE.

“100% agree! Make it happen, @SecMullinDHS!” Nick Sortor wrote.

Other users chimed in with positive feedback and memes aplenty.

With the deportation of their illegal alien voters being an existential threat to Democrat power, the party has declared war on ICE, and multiple elected lawmakers have called for it to be abolished.

“ICE is not keeping us safe. It’s terrorizing our communities, detaining U.S. citizens, and letting people die in custody. Abolish ICE,” Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) demanded in a recent post to X.

The ongoing DHS funding fight has been allowed to drag on for months because of the Democrats’ obscene list of demands in exchange for their cooperation, one of which is forcing ICE agents to no longer wear masks, a protective measure that many have taken to avoid being doxxed by leftist miscreants who would put their lives, along with the safety of their families, in danger.

In an election year, there are few issues that motivate the party base more than anti-ICE extremism, with one example being California gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer’s vow to put agents behind bars if elected.

Trump continues to bedevil Democrats with his wicked trolling, and NICE would truly send them over the edge.
