Nowhere to hide: Here’s ICE agents tackling a man in a duck pond

On the same day that border czar Tom Homan sat down on the Shawn Ryan Show and championed the Trump administration’s immigration policies, declaring that a secure border “saves lives,” ICE agents proved that there’s nowhere to hide once they set their sights on someone.

In a wild scene outside the Mecklenburg County Courthouse in Charlotte, N.C., a group of officers identified as ICE agents are seen tackling a shirtless man in a pond, the incident culminating what was reported to be a foot chase — WBTV reporter Jason Puckett said the men displayed Customs and Border Protection badges.

The details are unclear on why the unidentified man was being pursued:

One thing is clear: there is a new sheriff in town, and illegal immigrants who eschew U.S. laws had better take notice.

In the video below, posted by Homeland Security Investigations in Tampa, Florida, agents are seen entering a construction site in Wildwood on Tuesday, where 33 illegal aliens were arrested:

Homan sat down with former U.S. Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan on Thursday and spoke at length about the actions being taken to secure our borders.

“The Trump administration, unlike what the media is pushing is not inhumane,” he said, explaining that a “secure border saves lives” while discussing the hundreds of thousands of unvetted illegal immigrants allowed into the U.S, under the Biden regime and the rampant sex trafficking of children — topics the media conveniently ignores.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from X that suggests Americans are not feeling too sympathetic to those who came here illegally:
