New York City Mayor Eric Adams met with former President Bill Clinton to discuss the city’s ongoing migrant crisis which has strained resources to the breaking point with illegal aliens continuing to arrive with no end in sight to the influx of indigent foreigners flooding the sanctuary city.
The mayor’s pleas for a sitdown with President Joe Biden have gone unanswered as he has become increasingly critical of the geriatric leader and his regime over their lack of assistance with Gotham’s burden. But Hizzoner found a sympathetic ear in the nation’s 42nd president who paid a visit on Friday.
“The asylum seeker crisis is a national crisis that can only be resolved by commonsense leadership,” Adams posted to X with images of his meeting with Slick Willie. “Thank you to former President @BillClinton for offering your keen insights and advice on the work New York City is doing to confront this issue.”

Details of the behind-closed-doors pow-wow between the two Democrats are largely unknown with representatives from City Hall telling the New York Post that nothing about the meeting will be released other than the pictures posted by Adams on social media.
Biden has continued to snub the nation’s most high-profile black mayor who’s leveled criticism of the administration’s hands-off approach to a crisis that Adams recently predicted could have cataclysmic consequences for the Big Apple.
“I’m gonna tell you something, New Yorkers, never in my life have I had a problem that I didn’t see an ending to. I don’t see an ending to this,” Adams said during a town hall last month. “This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City.”
“The city we knew — we’re about to lose,” says Democrat NYC Mayor Eric Adams on the illegal immigrants flooding the self-proclaimed sanctuary city.

“Month after month I stood up and said this is gonna come to a neighborhood near you. Well, we’re here, we’re getting no support on this national crisis, and we’re receiving no support,” Adams said, accusing the Biden regime of being missing in action.
Biden ghosted the mayor last month when he was in town for the meeting of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly in what would have seemed like a perfect opportunity to get a firsthand look at the migrant crisis, drawing a disappointed reaction from Adams.
“I am hoping that he understands this beautiful city that’s the economic engine of the entire country is been saddled with a $2 billion that we spent already, $5 billion we’re going to spend in this fiscal crisis, $12 billion in the next two budgetary cycles,” Adams huffed. “New York doesn’t deserve this, the asylum seekers don’t deserve this.”
