In what sounds like a low-budget porno, ten guards and jailhouse staffers at Belgium’s largest prison have been accused of having sex with each other while on duty and hosting wild after-work jacuzzi sex orgies in a scandal that has titillated tabloids and reputable news outlets the world over.
According to Fox News Digital, “One of the staffers was even described as a ‘nymphomaniac’ who would allegedly demand sex from co-workers at work.”
The employees would gather in a jacuzzi owned by a male prison guard identified only as “P” and, in a ritual reminiscent of swinging ’70s “key parties,” draw at random colorful bracelets to determine which colleague they’d sleep with.
A staffer known as “S” — the “nymphomaniac” — refused to do her job until one of her co-workers had sex with her, according to an anonymous source.
“From 6 am, she would let it be known that if she didn’t have sex, she wouldn’t be able to work,” the source said, according to the Daily Star.
According to its website, “Lantin prison is built according to American and German models. It is the largest establishment in the country and is, therefore, divided into distinct entities: a remand center, a prison, a women’s section, a psychiatric section and a polyclinic. The prison also has a section for implementing special individual security measures.”
To make matters more outrageous, the alleged nymphomaniac’s brother was reportedly an inmate at the facility following a murder conviction for killing a gay man, leading the source to wonder how she was hired at the prison in the first place.
“She used to come to see him every day as a visitor, being very friendly with the families of the detainees in the waiting room,” the source said. “She was very arrogant and haughty with the agents who were watching the visiting room. Her admission to Lantin, at the time, was a [shock], especially since, as a visitor for a year, she passed overnight to prison officer.”
Fox News Digital reports that the brother has “since reportedly been transferred to Huy Prison, which is about a 30-minute drive from Lantin Prison.”
Meanwhile, “P” was banned from entering the women’s wing of the prison because the jacuzzi owner allegedly kept having sex with the inmates, DailyMail.com reports, and “S” has been restricted to the women’s wing in the hopes that it will “calm her sexual urges.”
“S” has since said that the scandal has “destroyed” her and she is now “stained for life.”
Denying everything, she told La Dernière Heure, “I feel a deep injustice, I am deeply shocked. My life is destroyed, the consequences are absolutely colossal, I have been stained for life.”
“I am shocked by these slanderous denunciations and the proportions they are taking,” she continued. “The image that this sends to my loved ones, to my future employers and colleagues, finally to all those who take the time to know me.”
“I’ve never done anything like what I’m accused of,” she insisted, “so I don’t know why.”
In a reported message to his staff, Lantin Prison Director Marc Brisy wrote, “I never thought that one day I would have to write e-mails like this,” according to DailyMail.com.
“It appears as if I have to remind you that working in a relaxed atmosphere does not mean turning your workplace into a circus, a ‘game without borders’ or an amusement park,” he continued. “The establishment is a workplace, not a dating club.”
