NYPD arrests 11-year-old migrant ‘aggressor’ in violent subway attack

An 11-year-old Venezuelan migrant boy was arrested for his role in a violent New York City subway mugging and could also be involved with robberies that young illegal aliens have committed in Central Park.

NYPD officers took the youngster into custody along with another 17-year-old teen after they allegedly assaulted a subway rider in an incident onboard a train bound for Manhattan, swiping the victim’s iPhone at about 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday.

“He just kinda grabbed it and from there, they passed it around,” the victim told the New York Post. “When I fought back to try to get my phone, they attacked. They jumped me.”

The victim who the paper identified as a “Manhattan-based IT professional” told police that the 11-year-old was the “primary aggressor” in the attack.

“He was essentially provoking it,” the unnamed person said. “He was just up in my face and stuff like that.”

“It was a knifepoint robbery,” a police source said, according to the New York Daily News. “It wasn’t like he was tagging along. He was definitely in on it. An 11-year-old. Incredible.”

Sources told the New York Post that the suspects were in possession of the stolen cellphone when they were arrested near the migrant shelter at the Roosevelt Hotel at around 10:15 p.m.

Police said that the budding 11-year-old career criminal was also seen on surveillance video using credit cards stolen during the Central Park robberies. He was also in possession of the stolen credit cards when police searched his pockets.

The incident is the latest example of the illegal alien crime wave that has plagued the country since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took office and rolled out the welcome mat for foreign invaders, many of them violent thugs.

NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell told reporters, “At this point in time, we’re ready to call it: This is a migrant robbery pattern.”

“Police have linked roughly 10 robberies that have taken place inside or along the southern end of the green space to a group of up to 12 migrant boys or young men,” the New York Post reported.

Chell said, “We think they’re responsible for most of them if not all of them.” Police believe that the illegal alien robbery crew may be run by the notorious Tren de Aragua, a violent Venezuelan gang that recruits teenagers and youngsters to commit robberies.

Also on Tuesday, a pair of young thugs robbed two 20-year-old men in Central Park, stealing their jewelry, a hat, and a vape pen, according to police.

In another early Tuesday Central Park incident, three teens were nabbed after robbing a trio of men, making off with their AirPods and jewelry.

“I think we could do a better job of using drones to police the area from the sky. And there’s some technology that we’re looking at that I think is going to assist us,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams said at a Tuesday press conference.

“If something does happen in this park … and we miss it, we have a full-fledged apprehension plan that will go into effect because we know where these people are going after the robberies,” Chief Chell said.

“We have a good idea. So it’s a wholesome plan, it starts tonight, and like the NYPD always does, we will make this happen. We are the best police department in the world, and we’ll keep being the safest city in this nation and in this world,” he added.
