Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki was reacting to the first Republican primary debate when social media had to take her down memory lane.
Debating a multitude of subjects, eventually the presidential hopefuls began discussing their personal positions on abortion. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appeared to strike a chord with Psaki with his statement.
“I believe in a culture of life. I was proud to sign the Heartbeat Bill. I remember one of the most impactful moments of my life was when I heard the heartbeat of my oldest daughter in my wife’s womb and then saw the sonograms of all three of my kids,” the leader said. “What the Democrats are trying to do on this issue is wrong, to allow abortion all the way up to the moment of birth.”
Psaki was quick to take to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share her own opinion.
No one supports abortion up until birth.

Other users were equally as quick to remind her that political reality is sometimes more messy than one might recall:
No one? Why have no limit laws passed then? If you would like to stand up with your fellow democrats and say you’re against that we’d love to hear it.
Will you stand up and say you’re against late term abortion then and push for these no limit states to overturn the law? pic.twitter.com/82VLhE9z3Q

I mean, virtually every democrat is on record saying they support no restrictions, so there’s that.

Oregon has no limit. With a separate bill passed it also allows minors to get an abortion without the parents consent with no limitations on how far along.
