Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin accused Newsmax host Eric Bolling of costing her “another gig” over comments she made “about a week or so ago” regarding Fox News, for whom Palin was once a contributor.
The conversation began with a discussion surrounding former Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s latest “Tucker on Twitter” episode, in which, oozing with sarcasm, he discussed a Fox News chyron labeling President Joe Biden as a “wannabe dictator.”

“It turns out this producer was kind of pushed out,” Bolling told Palin.
“Well, doesn’t Biden kind of want to be a dictator?” he asked. “The old Fox would have been like, ‘yes, wannabe dictator.’ But now, for some reason, they’re pushing away, against real conservative values, aren’t they?”

“Well, yeah,” Palin replied. “And real conservative contributors also, who want to give voice to the voiceless out there in the public. They want to hear truth, and they want their voice relayed out to the general public in order to empower others who feel the same way, and Fox isn’t using those conservatives anymore.”
According to Palin, she knows this firsthand, thanks to Bolling.
“As a matter of fact, Eric, thanks to you, I lost another gig, bless our hearts,” she stated. “It was just about a week or so ago. I was on your show and you had asked something about Fox – maybe this was two weeks ago. And I was – as usual – quite candid and off the cuff, and I told you what I thought about what Fox was doing.”
“Well, I had been booked on Fox for the next day,” she explained. “A mutual friend of ours… had been listening. He texted me right after my interview, and he said, ‘Okay, watch, in 3… 2… 1… you’re gonna get canceled.”
“Yup!” she exclaimed. “I got canceled from Fox and haven’t been invited back.”
It is unclear which comments cost Palin that Fox gig.
As BizPac Review reported, in May, Palin told Bolling that Fox executives called her ex-husband to inform the former Vice Presidential candidate her contributions were no longer needed at the network.

“We know what colors Fox wears and none of them seem to be red, white, or blue,” Bolling said at the time.
“It’s not just Fox News, of course,” Palin replied. “It’s these corporate-owned woke disconnected elites who call the shots in lame-stream media and they look at us as just the peons, just the subjects, and perhaps people would perceive me as being biased, though, when we speak of Fox because I got canned, too. And I don’t want to – I don’t want to interject any of my bias in the way that they operate.
“I will tell you one thing about the way they operate,” Palin dished. “When I was informed that I was no longer working for them, I wasn’t even informed! They didn’t have the guts to call me. They called my now ex-husband. And I thought that was really weird and weak. And I just said I wouldn’t speak ill of them, but I just spoke ill of them, yes. But you know what? They have underestimated the will of the people. They have underestimated our wisdom and our desire with that freedom of speech to have truth spoken to power, to have information so we can make up our own minds about these issues.”
When asked if Fox News gave a reason for canceling her latest scheduled appearance, Palin said, “I will bet you donuts to dollars that’s exactly what it was. I didn’t bother asking why. It was just a lot more than a coincidence.”
