Patriots mock ill-conceived ‘economic boycott’ planned by bitter leftists

Leftists are moving ahead with a planned “economic boycott” scheduled for February 28, and calls for a counter move are spreading on social media.

Several boycotts are planned by activists for Friday, urging people to avoid online and in-person spending as a way to send a message about the economy. Supporters, including celebrities, have posted to social media about the planned boycott touted by the grassroots organization The People’s Union USA, which was founded by John Schwarz.

“No Amazon, No Walmart, No Best Buy,” the group’s website reads. “Nowhere!”

But skeptics on X have been pushing back on the call to action – or inaction.

“For our entire lives, they have told us we have no choice, that this is just how things are, that we have to accept these insane prices, the corporate greed, the billionaire tax breaks, all while we struggle just to get by,” Schwarz said in an Instagram video. “For one day, we are going to finally turn the tables.”‘

“The People’s Union USA has other targeted economic actions planned for after the blackout,” Axios reported. “These include weeklong blackouts against specific retailers, including Amazon, Nestlé and Walmart.”

Schwarz and others believe the one-day effort will move the needle and are urging consumers to support the move.

But for all their efforts, leftists are already being targeted with a counter move as many are gearing up for a massive day of shopping in response.
