A woman whose research caught the eye of Elon Musk is speaking out on her new role at DOGE.
The un-named woman who goes by “Data Republican” on X was regularly re-posted by Musk and was eventually hired to play a key role in rooting out government corruption and waste.
“If I had to guess, I’d say it’s over 100 billion,” the woman who is deaf, said of suspected waste, fraud and abuse.
She explained that she uses AI to scour government databases for inconsistencies, of which there are plenty.
“The numbers do not lie,” she said of her findings.
The interview was reposted by Musk where it garnered a lot of attention:
It might make sense to increase compensation for Congress and senior government employees to reduce the forcing function for corruption, as the latter might be as much as 1000 times more expensive to the public

DOGE is on a roll. I am an impressed to see all the nonstop hard work!

The real story is not that FEMA, USAID, and other agencies gave $ billions to NGOs & illegal aliens.
It’s that Democrats really did coordinate a plan to import and support MILLIONS of illegals.
It wasn’t incompetence.
It was an attempt to turn all 50 states permanently blue.

This project of connecting the people by their relationships, who works with who, who is married, etc. is freaking genius and absolutely will be one of the most valuable ways to expose these frauds. Thank you @DataRepublican !!!

The “Data Republican” herself even responded to Musk’s suggestion of increased compensation for lawmakers.
First:
Second: Yes, increase pay. I’d also consider introducing Big Tech style stack rankings & quotas. So much of their attitude comes from taking their jobs for granted.— DataRepublican (small r) (@DataRepublican) February 27, 2025
But not everyone agreed with Musk:
I disagree . Public Servants need to serve for much higher reasons than money. No amount of money will be enough for these grifters. They’ve already voted themselves several raises; I think their salaries are around 174k. Enough‼️And then the perks. pic.twitter.com/DBLEQIQkyv

I’ll go for this is we can have term limits. Also, something needs to be done about the way the campaigns are financed.

Most of us didn’t join the military for money and we sure as hell didn’t make 6 figures.
Patriotism, morality, and integrity should not be too much to ask for public service.
The missing element here is accountability.
