Paul Pelosi surfaces for Kennedy Awards gala where libs are treated to Trump and Kanye bashing

Paul Pelosi made his first public appearance since he was beaten with a hammer in his own home at a star-studded liberal gala attended by top Democrats who were treated to comic Sacha Baron Cohen’s crowd-pleasing anti-Trump rant.

On Sunday, the 82-year-old husband of outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi surfaced in the VIP box at the Kennedy Center Honors awards ceremony where tribute was paid to actor George Clooney, U2 frontman and global crusader Bono and his band along with others including iconic singer, Gladys Knight.

Wearing a black hat and one black glove, Mr. Pelosi appeared with Madame Speaker, President Joe Biden, VP Kamala Harris, their spouses and Hunter Biden, none of whom would be there were it not for Twitter’s censoring of reporting on the “laptop from Hell” belonging to the president’s scoundrel of a son.

Pelosi was warmly greeted by the enthusiastic crowd at the Kennedy Center Opera House in the nation’s capital where she received a thunderous standing ovation.

But it was Sacha Baron Cohen who stole the show, slipping into his Borat routine to stick with the theme of antisemitism that has been used to repeatedly hammer former President Donald J. Trump since he was set up by Kanye West who brought white nationalist Nick Fuentes along as an uninvited guest to a recent dinner at Mar-a-Lago.

“I am told the president of yours today is here. Where are you, Mr. Trump?” Cohen began, delighting the Beltway glitterati with the voice of his famous fictional character from Kazakhstan.

“I must say I am very upset about the antisemitism in USA. It is not fair. Kazakhstan is number one Jew-crushing nation. Stop stealing our hobby. Stop the steal. Stop the steal,” he said

“Your Kayne – he tried to move to Kazakhstan and even tried to change his name the Kazakhstan way. But we said. He’s too antisemitic, even for us,” added “Borat” to guffaws and applause from the finely attired elitist attendees at the glitzy gala.

The White House posted a picture to Twitter of Biden standing in the Oval Office with those who were honored on Sunday night.

Clooney and Bono, who scored awards were positively giddy over getting to meet Biden.

Pelosi has made a remarkable recovery after the bizarre and shocking October incident when police were dispatched to the multimillion-dollar San Francisco home that he shares with his wife where they found him with another man who smacked him in the head with a hammer, fracturing his skull.

With the circumstances of the crime murky and early reports subjected to numerous revisions as to how and why 42-year-old David DePape ended up in the home of the woman third in the line of succession to the presidency despite security, Democrats and their media partners seized on the incident to smear Trump supporters in the weeks before the midterm elections.

Once the elections were over, the Pelosi story quickly disappeared from the media with the victim being the invisible man until his glorious reappearance at the Kennedy Center on Sunday.

This year’s edition of the annual gala was recorded and will be broadcast on CBS on December 28th.
