Pelosi calls Trump a ‘domestic enemy’ and blames herself in damning new J6 footage: ‘We have totally failed’

Newly released Jan. 6th footage shows then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi referring to then-President Donald Trump as a “domestic enemy.”

The footage, obtained from HBO, shows Pelosi preparing for a press conference with her staffers a day after the Jan. 6th riot when she suddenly blurts out the unthinkable about Trump.

Watch:

“We take an oath to protect our country from all enemies, foreign and domestic,” Pelosi says in the clip. “There is a domestic enemy in the White House, and let’s not mince words about this.”

Another clip shows Pelosi being asked how she feels about “being done with Donald Trump.”

“I just feel sick for what he did to the Capitol and to the country today,” she responded. “He’s gotta pay a price for that.”

She clearly blamed the Jan. 6th riot on Trump, despite the former president having famously told his Stop the Steal rallygoers to behave “peacefully and patriotically” while at the Capitol.

Responding to Pelosi’s remarks, critics accused her of being a power-hungry maniac, communist, and hypocrite who views half of the country as domestic enemies.

Additional video footage released by CBS News appears to show Pelosi admitting she deserves some of the blame for the security malfunctions that allowed Jan. 6th to happen in the first place.

“We have totally failed,” she says in this clip, which appears to also be from Jan. 7th. “We have to take some responsibility for not holding the security accountable for what could have happened.”

“Oh my God, I cannot believe the stupidity of this. And I take the full responsibility,” she adds.

The videos were reportedly shot by the Democrat’s filmmaker daughter Alexandra Pelosi for an HBO movie about her mom. They were publicly released this week by the GOP-led House Committee on Administration.

Responding to the second video, critics were quick to accuse Pelosi and the Democrat Party at large of having set Trump up to be blamed for what it would appear was their, not his, fault.
