Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi went into defense mode on Monday, downplaying President Joe Biden’s obvious age-related struggles and denying that it is affecting voter support.
The California Democrat blathered on about how “wise” President Biden is in an interview with BBC’s “HARDtalk” as she was questioned about his age, as well as his cognitive and physical health.
She shrugged off his physical and mental condition and responded to rumors about his health, predicting he will be reelected as president in 2024, which means he would be 86 years old by the end of his second term.
“Joe Biden is wise. He has knowledge…. He has strategic thinking about getting things done”

“Joe Biden is wise,” Pelosi, 83, spewed in the interview, punctuating every claim with arm gestures and shrugging off Biden’s declining mental condition. “He has knowledge. He has a beautiful vision for America. He has knowledge for the issues, therefore judgment and wisdom. He has strategic thinking about getting things done. That’s why his presidency has been so successful on the domestic front.”
Pelosi claimed even Democrats who have expressed concern over Biden’s age in the polls are still staunchly behind him.
“They’re not supporting somebody else because Joe Biden is old,” she told BBC’s Stephen Sackur in the interview.
She proceeded to tick off what she contends are some of Biden’s greatest strengths. She noted that Democrats will have to work to communicate those qualities to the American people in a more effective way during his presidential campaign.
Her defense of the president and denial of his cognitive challenges comes as Republicans have at least admitted that Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is unwell. He has recently had two incidents of freezing up publicly.
The Wall Street Journal conducted a poll on Aug. 24 that concluded a whopping 60% of respondents flatly stated that Biden is not mentally or physically up to the job of being president. A stunning 73% stated that he is just too old to run for reelection. Former President Donald Trump is just three years younger than Biden, but only 47% say he’s too old to run again.

Biden has previously joked about his age as if that would make the concerns go away. He did so during an appearance in Pennsylvania on Monday.
“You know, the only thing that comes with age is a little bit of wisdom. I’ve been doing this longer than anybody, and guess what? I’m going to continue to do it, with your help,” Biden declared.

Pelosi predicted with utter certainty that voters will reelect Biden as president in 2024.
“You’ll see 15 months from now Joe Biden reelected as president of the United States with great pride,” she proclaimed.
Americans believe their eyes, not propaganda from the Left. No amount of communication is going to convince them that Biden is okay.
I’m personally flabbergasted by the support for Joe Biden. Of course he is too old to be POTUS. The man has serious age related problems.
