Pelosi takes a run at the gaslighting record with fan-fiction defense of Joe Biden

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi took a run at the gaslighting record when she served up a series of whoppers to portray deeply unpopular President Joe Biden in a positive light despite growing questions about his age and overall job performance as well as criticism over the ghosting of his 4-year-old granddaughter.

Pelosi appeared on “Morning Joe” for an interview in which she defended Biden who would be 86 years old at the end of his second term if he wins reelection, telling hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski that “he’s a kid to me” and rattling off a series of attributes that may fool the gullible MSNBC audience but have little basis in reality.

“We couldn’t be better served … than by President Joe Biden. This is a person who respects other points of view, the vision of our Founders, respects the sacrifices of our men & women in uniform to keep our freedom intact & again, honors the aspirations of our children,” Pelosi said in a clip from the interview that was shared to Twitter by Grabien’s Tom Elliott where it has caught the attention of many who have remarked on her fabulistic recasting of Biden’s presidency.

“From the heart, he’s the most empathetic, unifying person we could have,” she claimed, completely ignoring Biden’s constant race-baiting and dehumanizing rhetoric about the tens of millions of Americans who voted for former President Donald J. Trump.

“Bidenomics are very kitchen table issues,” Pelosi added. “How do we address the kitchen table concerns of America’s working families, and that is the most important table in America. Not the boardroom table, not the cabinet room table, but the kitchen table of America’s working families and Joe Biden is committed to that.”

Her remarks come during a period of staggering inflation, including food and energy costs that have squeezed household budgets, leaving families struggling to put food for their families on those kitchen tables.

Pelosi laid it on thick, gushing about unifying the American people and that she’s “there for the children” who are always invoked by cynical Democrats as little human shields for their disastrous policies.

“Morning” Joe and Mika just sat there, nodding their heads while Pelosi went for the gaslighting gold medal but Twitter users weren’t about to let her get away with it.

“I think the president should embrace his age, his experience, the knowledge he brings to the job. Actually, the leader on the other side is not much younger. I don’t like to use his name, but you know who I mean. He’s not that much younger. So I don’t think – age is a relative thing. It is – and I think this president, our country is very well served by his leadership, again, his experience, his knowledge, and it counts for a lot,” Pelosi said, adding “he’s a kid to me.”
