Pete Buttigieg support among black voters is a game changer – in the wrong direction

Democrat support in black communities is already failing, but somehow, Pete Buttigieg is winning the race to the bottom.

The left is already looking forward to the 2028 presidential race, even as their party’s approval numbers sink lower and lower. According to a new Emerson Poll released on Friday, former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is the frontrunner in the race with 16% of the vote. Former Vice President Kamala Harris is a close second with 13%. Following her are California Governor Gavin Newsom (12%), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (7%), as well as Sen. Bernie Sanders (5%), and everyone else receiving 3% of the vote or less.

A whopping 23% of respondents said they weren’t sure who they would cast a vote for, spelling trouble for the party’s presidential prospects.

But Buttigieg’s poll numbers aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. In fact, he’s currently receiving 0% support among black voters who responded to the poll, managing to completely bomb in a voting bloc that has predominantly supported Democrats.
