‘Petrified’ CNN starts parroting Trump disclaimer amid BBC lawsuit

It would appear that President Donald Trump’s threats of legal action against the BBC have rattled CNN.

As BizPac Review previously reported, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) was put on notice by the president’s legal team over a documentary that they claim includes “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements” regarding his January 6, 2021, speech. The company was warned to either retract the offending parts or face a billion-dollar lawsuit from the president.

Now, even CNN is so “petrified” of the litigious president that they are utilizing a legal disclaimer in their coverage of Jeffrey Epstein.

Watch:

“We wanna be clear, the president, Trump, did not receive or send any of the messages, which largely predated his time as president. He has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing with Epstein or Maxwell.”

While it’s quite refreshing to hear a little bit of truth in a CNN report on the president, the fact that it appears to come from the potential threat of a lawsuit rather than the desire to be an impartial reporter is quite a sad state of affairs.
