Philly leaders vow to ‘Combat White Institutional Racism’, demand DEI for every teacher in city’s safety plan

City leaders in Philadelphia unveiled on Thursday a plan to combat crime that includes fighting “Institutional White Racism,” hiring more black teachers, and ensuring every educator goes through DEI training.

The “Blueprint for a Safer Philadelphia” provides “more than 100 critical recommendations to improve quality of life and reduce violence,” according to FOX29. The more than 150-page report was presented to Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker by Councilmember Curtis Jones, Jr.

In a section titled, “Combat White Institutional Racism,” the report claims, “The school to prison pipeline plays a prominent role in our school system.”

“Teachers in low-income districts are not equipped with the proper diversity, equity, or inclusion training to break the institutional racism,” it explains. “Housing also plays a large role in discrimination, and many are not aware they are able to file complaints with Housing and Urban Development.”

Fewer white teachers would bring the soaring crime rate down, the report argues.

“More teachers of color need to be hired to work in schools and administrative positions,” it states. “All educational employees should attend anti-racism training, focusing on unconscious bias and racism.”

Going forward, schools need to hire “culturally competent” social workers. The city needs more police officers, and, “Legislators and political officials need to collaborate with schools and nonprofit organizations to address micro-aggressions and increased acts of both hate and violence.”

In other words, the government should enter into fascist public-private partnerships and dictate what does and doesn’t constitute “hate and violence” to the easily triggered.

According to one user on X, “Philadelphia’s new ‘safer’ blueprint sounds more like a social experiment than a safety plan.”

“Last time I checked, crime doesn’t care about your diversity training,” the user stated.

MEE Productions, which was hired “to develop and implement a social marketing campaign to complement the initiative’s unique and innovative approach to reducing urban violence,” says the plan “was developed with input from lawmakers, law enforcement officials, public health officials and community leaders.”

“The ten-year violence reduction plan was funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” according to its website. “It was a comprehensive approach aimed at ending youth violence in the city.”

It is “insanity,” said one X user.

“Philadelphia had an astounding 400 mųrders in 2023. The vast majority of these were committed by black people and the majority of victims were black as well,” the user wrote. “White people committed a disproportionately small amount of crime. Targeting white people to address this is insanity.”

“Every white teacher should walk out,” another user fumed. “This is racism.”

“Every single white person should leave Philly,” yet another declared. “Let them fall.”

“When I’m at the ATM in Philly,” quipped one user, “I’m looking over my shoulder for Institutional White Racism.”

“My city is in freefall,” one user lamented. “Democrats destroy everything.”
