Photo of trans cyclists kissing on winners podium goes viral: ‘Tells story of gender ideology perfectly’

A photo capturing two biological males kissing on the winner’s podium after finishing 1st and 2nd in a women’s race managed to perfectly encapsulate the controversy now threatening women’s sports.

Emily Bridges and Lilly Chant, two biological males who identify as transgender, were competing in London’s ThunderCrit cycling event last week, according to OutKick. In a photo shared on Twitter, they kissed while the third place finisher, a biological woman, is seen holding her young child — it’s almost as if the trans cyclists are rubbing in their dominance over women.

The social media user who shared the photo tweeted, “Two men kiss as they celebrate stealing 1st & 2rd place in a womens race…woman takes care of her child as she stands on the 3rd place she has been relegated to due to male cheats. This pic tells the story of gender ideology perfectly. Men first, women & childrens needs last.”

The three cyclists competed in ThunderCrit’s Lightning category, OutKick noted, citing the event’s website, which said the category is for “cis-women, non-binary people” and “trans men and women whose physical performance aligns most closely with cis-women.”

“Cis-women” — see biological women — did not have an alternative choice here, according to the website.

But there’s more. OutKick reported that Bridges “had been unable to compete in women’s cycling events. Bridges had been cycling in and winning male competitions as recent as February and registered for the British National Omnium as a man.”

OutKick’s Joe Kinsey wrote back in March that Bridges was well on her way to becoming the Lia Thomas of Great Britain — this being the University of Pennsylvania trans swimmer at the center of all the controversy in America.

“The suppression has been going so well for Bridges that the cyclist recently won a bronze in MEN’S TEAM PURSUIT at the University Championships and an individual gold in the MEN’S POINT RACE,” Kinsey wrote. “That’s right, the biological male who identifies as a woman, and will soon race against women, is still in the hunt for collegiate medals AGAINST MEN.”
