New York City threatening to ban coal-fired pizzerias is a slice too far for Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and conservative artist/activist Scott LoBaido who both ripped into leftists for crushing the favorite food of New Yorkers under their totalitarian stiletto heels.

As a pizza expert, Portnoy gave voice on Monday to angry New Yorkers over the proposal to take aim at pizza joints that use coal-and-wood-fired ovens.
In a nearly three-minute rant posted to Twitter, Portnoy shredded the insane rules drafted by the city Department of Environmental Protection that would order eateries using the old-fashioned baking method to cut down on carbon emissions by up to 75%. That would effectively drive them out of business, forcing pizzerias that installed coal-and-wood-fired ovens before 2016 to buy emission-control devices costing thousands of dollars, according to the New York Post.
“You got rats, you got trash in the city, you got f**king cars, planes, private planes, you got people getting slashed on the subway, you got flash mobs robbing stores and you’re coming for coal oven pizzerias?” Portnoy railed in the video.
One pizza restaurateur who has a coal-fired oven told the New York Post that the environmental guardrails could affect the taste of the pizza. First, the lefts came for gas stoves, and now pizza ovens.

“You know what pizzerias use coal ovens,” Portnoy asked rhetorically. “All the best, all the best.”
“Any pizza place that you’re like ‘oh, this is Manhattan, this is old school, this is what people think about when they think of NYC,’ they have a coal oven,” he pointed out.
He gave a tip of the hat to conservative artist/activist Scott LoBaido for tossing almost 50 pizza slices over the fence into City Park near the mayor’s office to protest the green move Monday, according to the New York Post. Portnoy also called the pizzerias the “guts of the city.”
“You’re gonna come after pizzerias for f**king global warming?” Portnoy asked. “Are you f**king nuts?”

Some of the pizzerias facing the regulatory nightmare include Lombardi’s in Little Italy, Arturo’s in Soho, John’s of Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village, Macoletta in Astoria, Patsy’s in Turtle Bay and the Upper West Side, Paulie Gee’s in Greenpoint, Grimaldi’s near the Brooklyn Bridge and Totonno’s in Coney Island.
“If they come after John’s of Bleecker, I will come for their throat and I will never let go until I squeeze the life out of them,” Portnoy vowed. “Leave the f**king pizzerias alone.”
LoBaido made an awesome statement as he threw pizza slices and subsequently got a summons by the NYPD for it.

“The woke-a** idiots who run this city are doing everything in their power to destroy it,” LoBaido raged outside New York City Hall on Monday after the report revealing the impending regulations from the city to cut carbon emissions was released.
“We have naked men with their t***ies bouncing around all over this city yesterday, in public, in front of children,” he remarked. “We have the most violent, raging crime rate ever. We are being invaded by illegal immigrants who are being treated way better than our homeless veterans.”
“Our teachers and first responder heroes who were fired [are] still not compensated because they didn’t take the Fauci injection. Our city schools produce the dumbest kids and the woke a** punks who run New York S****y are afraid of pizza? The world used to respect New Yorkers as tough, thick-skinned, and gritty. Now, we have become pussified,” he epically summed it up.
Cops posted right there. cops were great. just got a summons. all good. my point was made

LoBaido declared that it was “a damn shame” and invoked the Boston Tea Party in his viral video.
“Well … this is the New York Pizza Party! Give us pizza or give us death!” he yelled, grabbing cheese pie slices from several boxes he brought to City Hall and throwing them over the gates.
“Give us pizza or give us death!” LoBaido chanted over and over as he hurled slices of pizza at City Hall.
“Destroying every small business, that’s what this city keeps doing,” LoBaido proclaimed. “Can’t have a small business? Can’t have pizza? New York City is nothing without pizza.”

“Got to do my thing, man,” LoBaido said to one NYPD officer, waving him off and then reaching for another slice to throw at City Hall.
“All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) spokesperson Ted Timbers said in a statement. “This common-sense (sic) rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”
LoBaido is being called a hero by New Yorkers and Americans in general – “Give us pizza or give us death!” has gone viral:
