Police reportedly arrest ‘hundreds’ when massive mob invades Grand Central Station, demands ceasefire

A huge mob of left-wing protesters occupied New York City’s Grand Central Station on Friday, demanding a ceasefire in Israel’s military operation against the Hamas terrorist organization that slaughtered its citizens.

On a day when the Jewish nation stepped up airstrikes in advance of the anticipated ground offensive in Gaza, the mob which was organized by the far-left anti-Israel group Jewish Voice for Peace, invaded Gotham’s central transportation hub for another one of the public temper tantrums that have become commonplace in post-Obama America.

Members of the leftist mob unfurled large banners reading “Palestinians should be FREE” and “Never again for anyone,” to chants of “Mourn for the dead and fight like hell for the living.”

Police reportedly arrested hundreds of the activists who showed up in force wearing identical black shirts bearing the words “Not in Our Name” and “Ceasefire Now” and chanting “no more weapons. No more war. Ceasefire is what we’re fighting for,” to shut down Grand Central on a busy Friday evening during rush hour, forcing their political cause on regular commuters who rely on public transit to, among other things, get to their jobs.

“We’ve been saying ceasefire every day of this horrifying time, so we want to get specific. We are calling for our elected officials, including President Biden, to demand the following,” the group posted on its website with its list of demands including, “Demand that the Israeli government immediately cease its bombing of Gaza,” “Allow all life-saving humanitarian needs to enter Gaza, including water, fuel, food and medicine,” and “Begin direct negotiations for Israeli hostages.”

The group touted the arrests of its shock troops in a post to X, invoking “genocide” a term that has been hijacked by the extreme left and is frequently used to promote its agenda on a number of issues.

“JVP uses its Jewish identity to shield the anti-Israel movement from allegations of anti-Semitism and to provide the movement with a veneer of legitimacy,” the ADL states in its comprehensive report on Jewish Voice for Peace.

According to the Anti-Defamation League: “In the weeks following the invasion and brutal attacks on Israelis, JVP chapters have been active on social media and have sponsored or co-sponsored dozens of anti-Israel rallies across the United States. In several instances, JVP or attendees/speakers at its rallies have expressed explicit support for terror against Israel or even overt antisemitism.”

“JVP does not represent the mainstream Jewish community, which it views as bigoted for its association with Israel. JVP’s staunch anti-Zionist positions place it squarely in opposition to mainstream American Jews and Jews worldwide, most of whom view a connection with Israel as an integral part of their social, cultural or religious Jewish identities,” the ADL states. “JVP promulgates the view that Jews who identify even tangentially with Israel are motivated by white supremacy, Jewish racial chauvinism and religious supremacism.”

The group also occupied the U.S. Capitol complex in Washington, D.C. last week, engaging in behavior that looked remarkably similar to the so-called “insurrection” on January 6, 2021, after they were incited by Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) a vocal Democrat anti-Semite and Hamas apologist.

“JVP uses its Jewish identity to shield the anti-Israel movement from allegations of anti-Semitism and to provide the movement with a veneer of legitimacy,” the ADL states in its comprehensive report on Jewish Voice for Peace.
