As Wisconsin lawmakers gathered for a special session on abortion, far-left abortion activists descended on the state capitol to protest.
There were no horrified cries of ‘insurrection’ however as Pro-Life Wisconsin and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin unleashed their “pink out” at the Capitol in a clear attempt to influence the Senate and Assembly in the session called for by Governor Tony Evers (D).
The session was called to address Wisconsin’s abortion ban that had gone into effect in 1849 and will become the law again if the U.S. Supreme Court reverses the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision which made abortions legal across the nation. But the Republican-led state senate gaveled in and out in what is being reported as just a few seconds.

Evers expressed his anger in a statement that he also posted on Twitter.
Republicans today defied the people of this state and rejected my special session to repeal Wisconsin’s criminal abortion ban and ensure reproductive rights in Wisconsin are protected if #SCOTUS overturns #Roe. Read my full statement ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/WcLrHO1N2v

Meanwhile, abortion advocates – many dressed in pink – loudly protested inside the building before and after the session, chanting “hey hey, ho ho, abortion bans have got to go,” and “whose choice? Our choice. If we don’t get it? Shut it down.”

Many social media observers noted the double standard of having the protesters present within the Capitol.

This looks like an obstruction of an official proceeding and disorderly conduct. Insurrection and seditious conspiracy can also be applied, because why not.
